Problem meditate?
I need some counsel on how to get rear on track. I've practiced yoga for 4 years, and meditated more richly over the last 7-8 months. I have a nice rhythm of meditation every morning (almost) for the past 6 months, and in a minute it appears to be gone. I can't seem to focus at adjectives. I've tried to get put a bet on into it with chant, as that seems to lend a hand relax me, but once I'm silent my mind can't focus again.
Any tips from those of you who meditate somewhat regularly? I miss it. :(
Thanks for your help.

I read your problem. You know at hand are times like these when you catch stuck in your practice. These blocks come across to assist you realize something in your go. They come to help you label egoless. They come to help you know the power of assumption.
If everything keeps on going great how will one know more or less the other aspect of greatness. The value of greatness will be lost.
So adopt it. Accept that you can silent your mind. Silence of the mind is the door from where you can explore further mysteries.
Acceptance is the honesty that will help you unfold those mysteries.
If you expect something to begin in meditation afterwards the essence is lost. You will not experience the moment of truth. So whatever the outcome of meditation be , adopt it. without expectations enter the empire of silence.

I've be a meditator for many years and found also that here were times I would encounter difficulties.and zilch seemed to work. Sometimes a practice that have always worked stops working. And sometimes simply persevering next to the same method I would breakthrough again. There is other a way to evercome obstacle. Sometimes just praying inwardly for guidance works.
My greatest assist was assignation a great revered and respected guru(Swami Muktananda). When I first met him he said my over-active mind was my problem. He told me to repeat inwardly a mantra over and over when I sit for formal meditation and to try to constantly repeat it at all other times. It be difficult at beginning but I persevere and it became reasonably a wonderful, intoxicating and healing exercise. So that when I sit for formal meditation I would only enjoy to start repeating it inwardly and I would immediately jump into deep meditation. You know that a true guru have incredible powers and that all his books, recordings, etc become imbibe with that same power and that pass on to a person reading, audible range them. If you do a Google search for Swami Muktananda you can find his copious books and tapes, etc, giving detailed instructions on meditation, chanting(many recordings of chants) and adjectives yoga practices. Some are out of print and recordings no longer available except on Ebay and similar sites I wish you the best.
