Answer:    Hot oatmeal
St. Johns wort. 5HTP or better L-Tryptophan if you can receive it. melatonin
Exercise. 30-60 minutes a day. I know that isn't a food but it help more than anything else. A warm cup of milk about 30 mins. up to that time you want to sleep. Good luck and hope this helps.
Drink some of that sleepytime tea,it relaxes you .* Green tea.
Try turning on some feathery nature music contained by the background. build the room darker
The best non-prescription sleep aid I enjoy found is melatonin.
You can purchase this at health-food stores. Source Natural
is the best for me. Buy the sublingual tablets that melt underneath your tongue and catch into your bloodstream quickly.

P.S. The Japanese own a theory that if your go swimming your feet contained by very reheat water prior to bed, you will sleep at a rate of knots and better. Worth a try.
nighttime grean or any other kind of tea, thaw out milk, nothing that will receive you super full or gassy. try a warm shower and later some tea or milk. it will relax you. you just enjoy to wind down past trying to go to sleep. (trust me i am an insomniac. i sleep 3 days out of the week maybe) a angelic, all-natural tea like the one contained by the link below will do the trick! I intuitively use the Dreamer's Herbal Tea but it's more to help me relax and not to knock me out approaching the Nighty Night tea will. Tastes great too!
I'm 14 and I only get hold of around 4 hours a night and sometimes smaller amount! I have never taken any perscription drug cos it can become addictive. My mum tells me that drinking milk past going to bed helps you to sleep but it doesn't work for me. Don't drink any caffine. I find that have a warm hip bath or shower really helps me to carry to sleep. Try drinking hot chocolate before going to bed and don't do any exercise 2 hours up to that time going to bed because your not relaxed.Lavender oil also help me.

Good luck !

I am the one to ask!

Warm milk before bed really does work.

So does turkey. Like on Thanksgiving.

So does chamomile tea. Be sure to steer clear of caffeine adjectives day if possible. If not, one cup when you receive up, that's it.

So does calcium vitamin tablets. I have to cart mine at bedtime or they make me sleepy during the daylight.

Try the vitamin section for Melatonin. I transport 3 or 4 300mg tabs at bedtime, more or less an hour before the calcium.

Get a unconscious lightbulb from the store. The Full Spectrum lightbulbs. Dr Oz just go on and on about these. They can be used contained by place of actual sunlight in places that are cloudy or within a lifestyle where you don't carry out much. Put it in a oil lamp you can be near at lowest a half hour a daytime.

Try a fan or nouns machine within the room. It will block out sounds from around you, from street noise to your fridge or doesn`t matter what. It can also signal to your brain to ready for sleep.

Don't keep watch on an action movie or read a thriller and expect your brain to shut down subsequent and sleep. Don't do such things at bedtime.

Stay out of bed unless it's bedtime. If you can, don't sit in bed to read or do bills or settle on the phone. Keep your bedroom clear and ready and comfy for sleeping. Don't shift to bed with a full mind. Try have the house clean and no work on your mind.

Keep a wipe of paper and a pen subsequent to the bed. If you wake up and enjoy issues on your mind, write them down...or list things you muse you need to do the subsequent day, afterwards your mind can let them walk rather than worrying to remember them.

Talk to your doctor. There are moral meds on the market. Besides, you may hold sleep apnea (do you snore? Snoring isn't funny or a sign you are asleep! It can be a sign you are not breathing right at bedtime! Many people die from sleep apnea every year. Get it looked into.)

Hot chocolate is NOT a devout idea. Any chocolate is not a well-mannered idea. It have caffeine in it! So do migraine meds!!
Melatonin try a pinl quartz crystal beneath your pillow it works for me
Well, besides what others have said here, at hand is the herb called Valerian. I haven't taken it within a while so I don't know what forms it comes in. I THINK I get it in fluid form and put it in decaf tea at darkness. It tastes similar to old socks, but if you're desperate, it really does comfort.
