Ear Infection?
Any suggestions for a home remedy on an ear infection? I'm not much of a doctor person and my family unit usually practices natural medicene. HELP
Answer: We own successfully used Grapefruit Seed Extract liquid - dilute 5 drops surrounded by 3 oz of water and put several drops within the ear with a dropper. You can repeat this every 4-6 hours if needed.
My s-i-l certainly had a doctor diag ear infection and turned down the antibiotics. Then asked me. This is the remedy he used and it worked almost right now. We have since used it for adjectives respiratory infections. Previously, we had newly used it for throat infections, since my son is allergic to antibiotics. For throat, gargle, for sinus, add to saline nasal cleanse. Always dilute GSE though.
GSE is a great antibiotic alternative. We have to find one that works for my son's sake. And, this is it.
You can try putting peroxide or alcohol. both are safe for the ear providing you do not enjoy tubes. well ive have a really bad ear infection for olden times week and it was soo itchy . i couldnt afford a trip to the doctors so i put a capful of peroxide in my ear i wait until the fizzing stopped and then i tilted my skipper to pour the excess out .. after that i put a blowdryer on low setting to my ear to dry it! this works wonders!! trust me also tylenol works to alleviate the pain although it isnt instinctive
Peroxide works wonders! The best is an oil made from willow and garlic. It works awfully quickly. I believe it is even call "ear oil." Available at any vigour food store.
