Is this insulting to other users?
I was just now "Violated" for telling a user to please swot to spell or at least use the spell check button. Was this insulting or did the user lately have her morale with her?
Answer: I wouldn't lose any sleep over "violations"...I consider sometimes Yahoo picks answers at random...and a moment ago doesn't care WHAT the answer be..I have have violation notice for ...?I can honestly say..."I do not hold a clue as to why I was given it"...and furthermore...you may thought that some Yahoo questions should be sent infringement notices.!
It is moral to hav the right spelling but sometimes it's also ok to write slang to set the tone of the sentance.
They proably thought you was person snooty No, i believe your were trying to amend the AnQnA.com community.
Sometimes you get violated for nought. If anybody violates you for any drive it just automatically go through. It's not like anybody verify it or anything. So don't take it one-sidedly. it depends how you said it, in this valise you obviously piqued her by the way you said it but she probably only just took it the wrong way. subsequent time if it annoys you again just hod your tongue (and baby grand lol) , because by the sounds of it you don't really want to offended someone else.
no it is okay Dear Brother, it is only seems that the AnQnA.comS STAFF is gone to a especially long coffee break to Antartica and has within the meantime delegated the responsibilities to positive pranksters who just stop by this forum without making any contribution excluding REPORT ABUSING answers.
I see lot of people riding vehicle contained by a NO ENTRY street. But when I do it , policeman catches me and penalises me. To my argument, he agrees he have seen masses but could not penalise them for his own reasons/inefficiency,may be.. II HOPE AND TRUST THAT MY REPLY LIKE THIS WILL NOT BE REPORTED FOR ABUSE. Probably most users have received the occasional Violation Notice so you could in recent times shrug it off.
It seem that if at least two (2) ancestors report an answer or a question that they believe violate the Community Guidelines then the answer or cross-question is automatically deleted and you go and get a Violation Notice.
You can actually appeal against such a Violation Notice if you believe that your answer or request for information should be reinstated and that the deletion was not fit but it is a lot of trouble and you might prefer to only just shrug it off and forget roughly speaking it.
In your case the justification might have be that you were deem to have insulted another user and that contravenes the Community Guidelines.
i guess it depends on who you told. different ancestors find different things insulting. i wouldn't tell anyone to spell right myself. it may not enjoy been the being you told to learn to spell who reported you any. it could have be someone else who was wacky at you. people here consult about individual followed around by others who just report them for everything. what i read just about reporting is that only one individual who is a respected reporter can get a infringement sent. you can appeal it they say. i guess you are supposed to just answer the question and not address other issues - like spelling. i'm untried, but that is my hold. sorry about the infringement.
