Yes. My acupuncturist have had great nouns treating stroke patients with acupuncture within combination with physical dream therapy.
I wouldn't say 100% reliable. But acupuncture def. can relief the stroke sufferer recover.
The trick is to start acupuncture treatments as soon as you can after the stoke. The longer you hang about (months and months) the more difficult it will be.
