When the pill hits your stomach it desolves and is absorbed into the stomach bin liner (Some medications disolve after that in the digestive tract). After it is obsessed it enters the blood stream and depending on the medication it affects different things.
Once the pill get to your stomach, it dissolves (or in the armour of a capsule, it breaks plain to release the medicine) and the medicine is released into the bloodstream.
most pill capsule are made of starch which is design to dissolve slowly. As the medicine leaves the pill it mixes up the the digestive enzymes and absorbes into the stomach pool liner and enters the capillary (blood stream) Most medicine is target specific which routine it's molecular structure and size is design for a specific task. Pain reliever for example will target aching receptors on nerve finish. Some meds hit multiple targets. Meds also contain desk ingredients like preservative, flavors and buffers. These are not ment to enter the blood stream and usually cant because of their size so they are metabolized or excreted.
