I'm quitting smoking!?
im quitting using the gum, but i was wondering how other relatives quit smoking. Has anyone used hypnotherapy or accupunture to help them, and how adjectives was it?? Also have anyone used an unsual method to help them tender up?
Answer:
I got pregnant, that made me distribute up! I smoked for 21 years and enjoyed it, I tried several times to stop but could never do it. We started trying fore a kid in November and I get pregnant really quickly, as soon as I found out my ciggies be in the bin.
I still miss smoking, it's be 8 weeks and I still have cravings, but near is no way I'd stir back to smoking immediately that i have for a while human growing in me!
the 24 hr patch is working wonders next to my fella!!
good luck next to it. i know someone who tried hypnotherapy to quit smoking but ended up quitting smoking, drink and drugs for 18 months. started drinking again but still doesnt smoke.
economically done and good luck!
nobody like a quitter, but you could try stitching your lips together specifically quite unusual.
My dad say he just quit cold turkey but for some inhabitants its really hard.
Quitting for you will be well brought-up as you can save what you spent on ciggies for the cloths and shoe public sale. plus you will be fitter to run around them
I managed to quit smoking when the surgeons removed not of late one, but both of my lungs.
I brushed my teeth when ever i needed to smoke, smoking after brushing your teeth is gross.after a while my gums were so sore that the thought of smoking made my gums cry..soon stopped thinking give or take a few smoking....ate a lot and put on a million lbs...
you be in motion for it girl. i quit smoking at the new year and found that relations who believed i would fail give me strength as i was dtermined to prove them wrong. the first few weeks r the worst but once you capture past it natural life feels great and food taste better than ever. i just remember the state of a smokers lungs black next to tar it put me right stale. i used niquitine patches and they do work but the mind still tell you ya need 1. its not assured but you,ll do it so long as you have the determination. perfect luck you can do it. but empy the house of things to remind you of smokers eg. lighters, ash trays
Acupuncture can help over the first 72 hours. It help to clear your lungs amongst other things and massaging some of the points help with the tickly throat i get from stopping.
I quit 30 some years ago using the ole "Cold Turkey" method and can't offer much insist on for you but I do wish you the best of luck. If you fall short your first attempt, start over, don't give up trying till you've vanquished it! I gained some shipment in the short residence but lost it all and never looked put a bet on. Again, best of luck...
I have tried EVERYTHING! I currently hold a letter into my insurance company to see if they will cover the clean drug "Chantix". My father started taking that in February and have not smoked since.
The gum was a banter. Didn't work on me at all.
The patch worked for a few days, but consequently as soon as I went to a smokey hotel - it lacked. I lit up (with the patch rotten, of course).
No hypnotherapy - I don't believe in that crap.
I deduce Chantix is the way to be in motion. I've been smoking for 11 years (pack a day).
GOOD LUCK!
precious that is perfect steps to follw..why dont you try patches plaster..they will minister to with smoking gum ..
adjectives the best
Yeah, ive quit many times and you know what works? NOT doing it alone, or cold turkey.
Youre down a frozen hard road, correct luck.
hi there, i haven't have a smoke for 2 weeks now. i own tried lots of things but the best by far is the AMCAL nicotine patch. the NICABATE patch is no where close at hand as good. it peak at certain times of the sunshine, when they think you would want a smoke the most, but at other times it seem to weaken and thats the impossible part, so i tried the AMCAL patch, and its great, it have the same steady stream adjectives the time which means no downs within the stream, if that makes sense. i find they also backing with the hunger (slightly). closing time i used AMCAL patch i gave up for 6 months and after got cocky and thought i could own a few drinks and one smoke and be fine. DIDN"T happen... apposite luck and heres to no weight gain while quitting.
I did quit next to the book from Alan Carr. I did re start but plan to stop when the ban comes into effect.
I used the patch and havent smoked since August of 1992. i also sucked on not easy candy and worked out more, which both helped beside the motivation. The biggest thing be me having the motivation to quit, and to appropriate it one day at a time. i literary from experience that if I pick up a cigarette again, Im instantly addicted. Still, 15 years later I occasionally crave a cig or own a vivid dream I was smoking. When i win the cravings, I pray to God to remove them and get busy doing something else. Smoking is a disgusting, filthy addiction, and congratulations to you for quitting. Take it sometime, or one minute at a time and make it a priority and you will succeed.
Try yoga. It's supposed to do wonders for adjectives sorts. Practice the breathing methods of pranayam and aasan (the stretching and meditative yoga) may backing. Build a different focus in natural life to try and deviate from the cravings.
Yoga has help cut down the number of cigs my uncle takes but he does still smoke as cold turkey diddn't work neither did hynosis. So hes taking the gradual approach and while doing yoga he have lost the excess weight he have and his health have improved dramaticaly. Theres no injure in giving it try and it give you so many more benefits. He in the main follows the techniques of swami ramdevji, however I looked into the forms of yoga and they are exactly one and the same as others so you might just want to poke about Pranayam and Aasan. In fact own a look at the link below it give you the general thought of all the a variety of practices and about yoga itself.
Main piece I reckon is that you can have adjectives the things in the world to serve you quit but it all comes down to your own will power within the end. My cousin have tried quitting as well near the patch programme and other things and it went fine for a while and after he gives within as his will power has other been half-hearted. But keep contained by mind the benefits and tell others at a snail`s pace so that they can support you, some even by not offering you a smoke or some even willing to do it beside you. But keep focused contained by what you wnat to achieve and the long occupancy benefits.
good luck.
NO psychotherapy or any unusual method will help BUT determination!
you own to be truthfu to yourself if you say "you are quitting!"
and adjectives other methods or any feeling or shifting in demeanour is ****, you will feel this for 1 month just, if you are determinant to achieve your aim you will do it
otherwise you are lying to yourself only...
I own given up 3 times - this last time feel soooo different and easy, and it be with Hypnotherapy. My friend also did it and she have not smoked for 3 years. I am 6 weeks in and have a feeling great - had no usual cravings and no sneaky ones. I smoked for 12 years.
I enjoy tried EVERYTHING! The ONLY thing that worked for me was/is Chantix!!
Set a date and time and stick to it.
I tried to quit lots of times...I used, gum, patch, microtabs, zyban and accupuncture, NHS Groups. All failed.
The Zyban be the best but i had an allergic response to it and ended up contained by casualty.
The patches and the NHS group be fine until .i had to stop going/using them.
Couldnt stand the swallow of the gum, so that didnt last long.
Microtabs be ok but I kept forgetting to take them contained by time.
Accupunture hurt my ear! Ouch!
There is hope though. The light at the call a halt of my tunnel was a combination of NLP and Hypnotherapy. One session, yes lately ONE and I never smoked again...after 30 years of being a smoker! Excellent. Expensive though, but the best lb300 I ever spent. Would definately recommend.
I yearning you every success, quitting be the absolute best entry that I have ever done.
