Why is the FDA hiding the truth give or take a few prescription drugs?

The FDA is a political machine in a minute for the pharmaceutical industry. The pharm's profits would be cut by billions if the FDA told the truth about prescription drugs.
That is also why they are pushing for the blanket rule out on alternative & natural tablets; people are starting to look elswhere for treatment. You can't blame them when some must choose between paying bills or getting their meds.
In my feelings, it's all a monopoly. Pharmacutical reps deal in the drugs that are approved by the FDA to the Dr.'s. Dr's "sell" it to their patients, and Dr.'s get kickback on their "sales".
It's an all around unbeaten situation from every angle. And when I say in the lead, I mean, MONEY$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
