Because the government does not want anything positive to be associated next to marijuana so they can continue to brainwash adjectives these SOCIETAL ROBOTS who are clueless to the positive effects of marijuana. They want to make money, therefor forcing us to bear synthetic medicine created surrounded by labs so they can tax millions of $$$. If they make conform it, they cant tax something that heaps of us will be growing in our backyard for FREE!

Who know if this is true or not and then studies can be fake or skewed at times with money from drug companies that want to profit funding a study.Don't necessarily believe everything you read or hear unless a second or third study done by another entity backs up the first study results. Edit: OH MY GOD! The article I read within your links states that it also slows lung and breast cancer as well as virus-induced leukemia. This is worth spreading the word more or less. The article states too that the drug companies gain rights to this research and tried to find an alternative form of synthetic THC which would not cause the large. They of course be unsuccessful. So they really just don't want the nation to gain the high is what I see. Well, race get alot more blistered past its sell-by date of alcohol than pot. This report be easily found using the standard PubMed search out engine. Also, over 60 other papers on similar topics have be published over the interval from 1975 to now. A "suppressed" report would not show up.
The DEA did not "destroy" the study - the reports are here for anyone to see. As far as "why" -- that was the increase of the "War on Drugs". Pretty obvious.
Most Americans don't know anything give or take a few ANY cancer research, until tests move into the primary clinicals. Not much point getting excited about adjectives the lab and animal testing since most of the promising results don't tub out once they get to human studies.

I think that the powers that be rebuke the fact that alcohol cause car crashes, belligerent behavior, blackouts, and countless other catastrophe.
