How can you treat intense bleeding if you don't own the materials for treating it?
Can you treat it with leaves? Ocean sea?
I am doing a research for surviving in the Everglades. It would be nice if you impart me plenty of information.
Answer:
use you clothes and tied it on the bleeding spot. wash it near water if you own any. Get some kind of fern then chew it after put it on then bleeding spot. Yeah you could use leaves and the deep water.
If your bleeding you can slash whatever clothing you hold and make a tourniquet. Or if you enjoy a severed artery and you can see it you'll have to plug it beside your finger. That will give you a few minutes until help out arrives.
Check airway, and breath before circulation.
If you evidence hemorrhage, stop it beside pressure (use a cloth or a tourniquet) and rehydrate. (If you have regular saline, obviously, you use it IV)
If you want to save hydration, and the person is conscious, liquefy some snow if you are on a mountain or drink the water of a river, if in attendance is one. Sea water is too pungent, and hypertonic, and it will dehydrate you more.
Intense bleeding would only respond to "direct pressure" over the wound next to any article of clothing, and application of direct pressure over a pulse point like the side of the collar, wrist, under the arm etc.,and elevation of the artificial area, and as unqualified LAST resort,a tourniquet to stop the hemorrhage, you must release that every few minutes to allow blood flow to the tissues below it. Leaves and ocean marine would not have any effect near a hemorrhage.Using material approaching leaves would be a great source of infection Always carry a Fist Aid apparatus, and a GPS locator for such emergencies when your camp or away from the "beaten path"!Take watchfulness. It depends on the type of cut...
If it is a small cut, artery, or gash than you could use your hand, piece of cloth, leaves, or what ever. All the other question above are good answers for this.
If you hold a really deep gash, or even severed appendage, you need to stop the bleeding right away. Using snow will numb it, but I'm not sure it it will stop the bleeding. There is an extreme channel you can stop the bleeding, but it requires a strong will. If you have a lighter or game you can seal your wound by burning it scrupulously, the bleeding will stop but you may end up next to damaged tissue, so i don't know how forceful the method is. Also tying a rope real tight above the wound will work, keeping contained by mind everything below will lose blood circulation and could possible kill adjectives the cells within the area. Using a cloth to cover the wound could work too, but if it is permeable it will only slow bleeding and not stop it. Those are a few ways I enjoy heard of, and i hope they minister to give you philosophy of some topics to look into.
Vines and a stick to apply a tourniquet.
You need fresh hose down to rinse it unless you want to hear a scream. Ocean sea has brackish. Keep the limb elevated and as verbs as possible. Yes you could use clean leaves for a dressing.
If the cut is to a artery; apply pressure to stop the blood.
If the cut is to an artery use a turniquet (SP?)
