Hi Matt. I am a retired Chiropractor.

As you can see from some of the answers to your question Chiropractic can be a confrontational profession. It can also be very rewarding on a personal plane. Patients tend to 'love their Chiropractor' much more often than they 'love' their other robustness care providers.

On a financial stratum, many Chiropractors struggle to engineer a solid living, while others do very ably. Several factors come into play that determine financial nouns.

First, to be successful you must be able to attract patients- you own to be willing and competent to market yourself and your practice to the public.

Second, you must be capable of successfully help those patients - so you involve to work very easier said than done to develop sound clinical skills. Chiropractic is a outstandingly skilled profession; requiring high stratum physical examination skills and Chiropractic adjust skills (not to mention excellent people skills). Some doctors are 'polite at it' and some aren't.

Third, the state and city in which you choose to practice can enjoy a major impact on your practice's nouns. Many states (e.g. California) now are dominated by 'Managed Care' systems. These severely interfere near patient guardianship and the finanicial reimbursement level for an organization visit to a Chiropractor can be smaller amount than many fuzz dressers charge for a haircut.

Finally, I would resembling to suggest that you spend some time with your family unit Chiropractor. Pick his/her brain about the profession. Most D.C.s are satisfied to help adjectives members of our profession.

Best wishes and righteous luck.

P.S. All of the schools you enjoy listed are excellent school. You may also want to look into Palmer Chiropractic College and Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (my alma mater).
yah if your a crook!
that profession sucks ball u will only just make any money
Check the entry contained by "the skeptics dictionary" on chiropractic before you judge too hard almost that. Apparently there isn't any proof it works for more than a few specific problems. I don't know myself.
I indubitably wouldn't waste my time on it, far more worthy pursuits out within.
Just saw one for the first time in Feb. Back problems. I truly need surgery..but the chiropractor be a well erudite man who was highly knowledgeable and told me he could single do so much for my condition. I like honesty! Go for it..Chiropractors work wonders for some general public. Find a few in your nouns who you feel comfortable surrounded by asking questions.
I a short time ago told my 14 yr. old son to check into the profession. He wishes to study biochemistry. Good luck.
I believe chiropractic is a great profession to get into. I am interested contained by becoming a chiropractor myself. Look into Palmer...he's the man who started it all! Personally next to my current internship at a chiropractic office I enjoy seen frequent great things and chiropractic being competent to help surrounded by ways that most people overlook. From the typical lumbar and cervical problems to diminishing the seizures of small children, and much more. I infer that chiropractic is interesting and more people inevitability to believe in its miracles. Try to contact an organization in your nouns to do some shadowing to see if you really are interested. Don't listen to the nonbelievers they are only afraid to try it for themselves.

Chiro can and does work.

Unfortunately, my Doctor was more interested surrounded by the Almighty Dollar, thus, He controlled my situation.

When I was on a winning streak, he 'adjusted' me so I would revert. I finally wised up and when I was better, I canceled adjectives of my appointments. It has be 20 years and I have never gone rear legs.

Can you enter this profession with the intention of helping relatives? My doctor professed to be a Christian, thus his practice improved.

If you honestly believe surrounded by helping others, you could do well surrounded by this. Just don't get mired in the BIG bucks or it could bring you down.
