Dr. wont allow contact lenses because I might budge blind?
I went to the eye doctor today to capture my eyes checked out for contact lenses, but after a while of talking to himhe said that if I get contact lenses then i might dance blind, because i havent been wearing my eyeglasses for 'awhile'. Which was in truth has be about a week. He said that my eyes be in no condition to own contact lenses in because of me not wearing my specs and I would have to lurk till august till I could get my contacts.
*I would own to constantly have to wear my goggles till then and would hold to prove I'm responsible enough to enjoy them*
I would just similar to to know if I should just run to my other eye doctor or just linger 6 months till im "responsible" enough to own contact lenses. Is the doctor over-reacting?

You don't say how mature you are, but the doctor should not be making the decision for you unless near is a definite logical medical pretext why he should. In your case, there's not. And even if your too young-looking to make the declaration, it then become your parents decision. Just because you haven't worn your specs doesn't mean you will turn blind. I wear contacts (and have worn them for years) and don't even own a set of two of glasses, your Dr. is full of crap
Go find another dr and win the contacts you want.

I hold never heard of such a piece. I am not sure what wearing your glasses regularly have to do with wearing contact lenses and afterwards going blind. I don't get it. You don't voice how old you are, but do label a comment that the doctor might be worried that you are not responsible enough to hold contacts. That is not his decision. That is up to you. I can`t bear to tell you to dance see another doctor because you already paid for your eye exam, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this doctor is a bit old fashioned and is over-reacting.
I don't fathom out why you want contact lenses if you don't need to wear your eyeglasses. Don't you do anything important ample that you need specs. If you don't need eyeglasses, why do you want them. If your vision isn't drastically bad and you with the sole purpose need eyeglasses for reading, then gain cheap reading glasses. I would definately budge to another eye doctor. This guy is nuts, scamming you or you are very infantile and he thinks he have to lie to you because you won't listen to him anyway. Maybe after chitchat to you he decided you wasn't responsible ample to take strictness of contacts properly and might get an eye infection. I would hold to talk to you contained by person to really know, and that aint gonna start.
he sounds like a jack *** to me. the one and only reason you'd walk blind is from an infection from not removing and cleaning the contacts properly. i think he's incinuating that since you won't wear the specs you're not mature satisfactory to use the contacts properly. having goggles in no path prepares your eyes for having contacts or prevents adjectives blindness. i would go to a different doctor. the solely problem is now that you've only just seen him, your insurance won't reward for an exam for another year.

This depends on what type of doctor you are talking going on for. If it is an MD, then you may want to listen to the direction. If the doctor is an Optometrist then move about and see a real doctor and bring some real proposal.
