My brother had Hep-C for plentiful years without realize it (from a tattoo he got when a teen). By the time he started showing symptoms and be diagnosed, he was pretty sick almost adjectives of the time.
He was put on interferon treatment and also took Milk Thistle herbal extract and made sure he ate ably and avoided all alcohol. Amazingly, he have now have NO TRACE of the virus for the past 3 years and is hunch quite okay.
Interferon is not cheap, but his insurance picked up most all the bills. His Dr. be surprised at how well he recovered and have deemed him cured, though he is monitored every couple of months. So far so honest (3 yrs!), so to say 'nearby is no cure' may not be accurate.
Milk thistle is very protective of the liver, and though his Dr. is not a big believer surrounded by herbal medicine he have conceded that it probably did contribute to his present state of health.
Since your friend refuse to see a Dr. (bad idea), he may get some assistance through using Milk Thistle if he is open to herbal drug.
Best of luck for you and your friend.
