Had Congress ever make conform Marijuana for Medicinal Purposes?

What would be your response?

I am personally for legalization of marijuana for medicinal purpose and hold no objection if the federal government settle on to legalize it. But communicate me your response if this had happen.

Answer:
First, to correct miss.marky03: No, cannabis has *not* be legalized in any states surrounded by the US. Perhaps she meant another country?

There are, however, some states own passed bills partially decriminalizing cannabis posession. Which system it is still completely illegal, but you won't jump to jail for go for having a few grams of weed. It is a worthy start, but there is a long process to go until that time anything you could remotely call "legalization" or a "sensible drug policy" is achieve.

My response? This should happen and swift. I personally believe contained by a total repeal of prohibition of all drugs. Prohibition kill, makes the sick sicker, and presents a powerful lure for the kids that Congress and other groups attempt to protect. Instead of fixing or shooting up core problem of drug abuse, they introduce a myriad of untried problems to society, and they like to label them worse every year with some hot untested idea base in ideology a bit than experience.
this already has happen in several states..and I am totally for it. I conjecture is should be legal everywhere!
