Ever hear of a Pakistani practising Yoga?
That would be very unislamic.
Answer:
Have you observed empire doing Namaz? Every step is nothing but yoga. If you report to them to do yoga, they will not do. In the name of religion and namaz, what they are doing is zilch but yogaasanas.
The first guy is right, first of all Yoga can be spiritual, but it is not religious. But if he does "modern yoga" adjectives he is probably doing is exercises and thats just movement. There is no problem.

Why do you think it would be unislamic?its basically exercise and breathing to tone your muscles and to de-stress your mind. Its good for your form and I am sure there are deeply of sensible Pakistanis who practise it.
I did not know that Yoga is religious. Yoga is a physical discipline. An exercise regimen meant to tone our body both physically and mentally. The exercises are tremendously precise and specific and are used to maintain oneself and also rid of deeply of diseases.
Do you know that the Namaz is done in Vajrasana? It is a yoga position which have a number of benefits. It is an excellent position for the treatment of indigestion, piles, sciatica, lumbar problems, backache, knee-joint suppleness, flexibility, and moreover it relaxes all the muscles of the backbone and the legs.
This is just one position at hand are many which everybody practices irrespective of religion.
