Does anyone know a safe cure for anxiety?
I have anxiety, which I outline as uneasiness multiplied by a factor of 10. At darkness, I FEEL something bad is going to evolve, though I don't THINK something bad is going to come about. Prescription Rx's abound, and they work, but side effects have be permanently detrimental at worst, or they cause deduction symptoms after one pill, or short term memory losses transpire, which I worry may be lifelong. Please don't recommend a shrink; this is the first recommendation that comes to most people's minds (Seek professional support, etc). I've tried several shrinks. I told the last shrink that I would rob his recommended, untried anti-anxiety pill, if he would take one first. Do you expect he did, or didn't? Maybe you know something natural, or hold another idea. Thanks, I.M. Nervous
Answer:
BREATHE -- it is the most crude thing to do, to relax you.
Be aware of your breathing and breathe from the belly.
Say affirmations as you breathe:
"Breathing in, I am a flower....Breathing out, I am fresh."
Do this for a while and you will relax
Also cut out adjectives stimulant foods -coffee, soda, white sugar.
Hi, sorry to hear you're suffering from anxiety. Not much fun. I love yoga, works really well.....ya, I know...I didn't believe it any, but I would have to voice that I am cured. Good Luck.
Do you drink caffeine? If so cut down. If you cannot take medicine then I would recommend getting involved contained by some form of exercise. Pilates and yoga are good because they enjoy you take relaxing breaths as you exercise. Plus, if you do satisfactory you'll be so tired at night you won't enjoy the enery to worry. On night I can't get my mind to shut past its sell-by date and I am feeling stressed I put the sleep timer on the TV and spatter asleep watching a comedy to distract me.
Klonapin. Ask your Doctor.
Ask yourself WHY you are feeling this route. What in your departed contributed to this? Can you pinpoint exactly when your first attack happened?
Often, in attendance is a traumatic event that happens and next the attacks follow.
When they take place, lug control over your thoughts. Say to yourself that what you are feeling is not wise based on...doesn`t matter what fits. For example; you feel something doomed to failure is going to happen. Are you nontoxic in your home bringing up the rear locked doors? If so, how can something bad surface to you? That isn't rational is it?
I suggest counseling (talk therapy) to aid you find the cause of your symptoms. Only severe cases really want medication. Behavior modification, biofeedback, etc., all can work too. Find out what is best for your casing.
May I suggest that you consider meditation? I found my anxiety levels make smaller significantly after just a week of meditation. Check around -- within most cities in the US, you might know how to find a place where you can swot to meditate. Hope this helps.
I own severe anxiety and have tried several different medications. I own had a great deal of side effects with these medication. The last medication I be put on Buspar, has given me the lowest probelms out of all of the medication. I would suggest trying Buspar. It helped my blood pressure move about from a bad 160/90 to 108/80.
i could recommend yoga, running, exercise etc and they adjectives do work.. but it takes time and also doesn't work 100% of the time.. the valid answer would be.. find out what scares you, write it down or have a word to someone or psychiatrist and whatever is making you alarmed.. just do it, no escaping it :)
I've found that Grapefruit liquid helps relieve hysterics and anxiety symptoms. I used to take Zoloft and grapefruit liquid was something I be not allowed to drink because it affects the seratonin level in your brain. So, when I couldn't afford Zoloft anymore, I tried grapefruit liquid. The levels of seratonin artificial aren't regulated, so it's a little strange at first (after one on meds), but it helps. And I hope this help you!
Yes yoga and other exercise are excellent, and key factor in overcoming anxiety, as reduced caffeine intake is a big plus. However authorize that anxiety is fear, and to overcome obsession you must change your approach of negative thinking to positive by asking why your even upset in the first place and depending on your answer you may or may not call for talk psychiatric help, but either style, exercising , reading the King James Bible and trying to get some formal rearing or training in a direction that interests you is where on earth you need to get going. All are necessary, and will afford you the confidence to see things differently and endow with you the strength and wisdom to overcome your consternation, which is caused by anger which is cause by poor self-esteem, and this is on no way intended to nouns mean. Hope this help!
go to a vigour food store and ask for 5HTP. it is a precursor to serotonin. 5HTP is found naturally within foods and plants we eat. it is 100% safe and sound, and it is actually what is found surrounded by turkey that makes us so tired after a thanksgiving collation (United States). 5HTP taken before bedtime on a regular font can cure common anxiety amng those who suffer. please do your own internet research on 5HTP. it have worked for me, a former Zoloft (anti-anxiety medication) user.
I sometimes get alike feeling once contained by a while, altho obviously not as strong or habitually as you do. The only entity I can do at those times is to find something to keep me busy for a while until I can relaxed down and relax. I've even cleaned my entire apartment at times. No, I'm not going to tell you to see a shrink. I doubt thoroughly much that he took that pill!
I wonder if Acupuncture might work for you? Just a thought, as it seems to work for other things.
You own way too much suspicion in your mind. All this stress going on will save you sleepless. Has anyone suggested meditation to you? Find someone who can teach you mantra meditation. It doesn't work overnight but the benefits will at a snail`s pace let you sleep. There are other vigour benefits too. No pills and no one asking your foolish question.
You might not need a shrink... I obtain anxious too sometimes...it's normal and inbred. You just own to come up with apt ways to deal beside it. I tend to breath slowly. You CAN try Kava Kava. It's an herb and it works for me great. You can get it surrounded by health food stores. As near all herb, some research says it isn't the best, but in that is something negative beside everything. It works for me an my friend and is non addictive.
1. Take a multivitamin every day. Deficiencies contained by B vitamins can affect mood, i.e. depression, anxiety. A healthy diet and sufficient vitamins also assist the body regulate hormones that influence mood, such as the stress hormone cortisol.
2. Establish an exercise routine. If your anxiety is highest at darkness, then the evening may be a right time. Yoga may be relaxing, but you may also try jogging or biking. Moderate to intense hustle and bustle (increased heart rate and breathing for sustained time) causes the brain to produce endorphins, which support counteract the effects of pain and stress. You will also expend extra get-up-and-go that may be contributing to the evening anxiety. As your muscles relax afterwards, you may find it easier to fall asleep.
3. Progressive muscle relaxation. This is base on the theory that the body cannot be relaxed and anxious at impossible to tell apart time. Start with respectively hand. Paying attention to the rigidity, tighten the muscles of your hand into a fist (for nearly ten seconds) and then release, relaxing respectively muscle in your paw completely (for 20 to 30 seconds). Repeat with your forearms, after biceps. Tighten the muscles of your face, consequently relax. Repeat with your collar, and then shoulders. Move on to your chest, afterwards abdomen, and next lower back. The second group will be your thighs, buttocks, calves, and feet. Return to or repeat muscle groups that are not completely relaxed. Remember not to hold your breath as you tighten respectively muscle.
4. Visualization. Sit in a comfortable stool, lay in bed, or pinch a warm hip bath. Take a series of deep breaths. Release tautness with respectively exhalation. With your eyes closed, allow your mind to wander. Picture yourself contained by a relaxing environment. Use as much detail as you possibly can. What sounds would you hear? What sort of things can you smell and taste? Try to picture respectively detail. If you are having a difficult time choosing an representation, start with your on the spot surroundings and imagine
yourself floating upward and out of the room. Picture your worries as lights dimming contained by the background. When you are set, slowly allow the images to fade, stretch, and clear your eyes.
5. Keep a diary or journal respectively day. Be sure to minute when your anxiety is the worst, what you did that day (activities, conversations, even food you ate), and what you where on earth thinking about. Eventually you may start to notice theme, things that help drain it, and things that make it worse.
6. Reality checking. Talk to someone you trust when you gain that sense of dread. Sometimes verbalizing it help. Ask them if you can vent to them for a little while. Just audible range someone say, "I fathom out that you are scared, but everything is alright presently. It is okay to relax," may help.
Try to avoid herbal remedies approaching St. John's Wort and kava. While some people may find them supportive, they often use or feat through the same mechanism as perscription drugs, yet they are unregulated. There is zilch guaranteeing thier potency or purity, and they may have similar insecure interactions and contraindications as perscription medicines.
Depending on your resources, you can also try hypnotherapy, acupuncture, or squeeze, which all hold clinical evidence supporting their effectiveness surrounded by some situations.
Best wishes.
A lot of excellent answers here. Yes to meditation, to exercise, to Buspar - took it for 15 yrs, finally weaned myself off through thought reordering. I did enjoy a small side effect of drowsiness and foggy head. My solution be just to help yourself to it about 10 mins up to that time bed. Avoided problems caused by drowsiness and it worked close to a sleep pill to get me to sleep. Yes to Bible reading - especially hall about peace and surety. It works best just since bed for this purpose.
I also recommend omega fats - 3 & 6. The fish grease fats. These assist to regulate mood and in the process relieve to calm you and cut back anxiety. Though as severe as you are talking, I would try the Buspar if it's not one you've even so tried. They have a generic out so you can obtain it cheap.

I see a Therapist 1 to 2 times a month and sometimes once a week when really needed. I recount him things I dont want to dump on my friends because sometimes I feel really doomed to failure. I have an elder daughter who is very ailing and struggling and I have be grasping at everything to try and find the answers to all my question. My Therapist doesnt say much but its nice to here myself bargain and he always leaves me next to some thought I remember. Eating Good organic sooner fruits and veg. and whole pellet breads, nuts and a wide series of food but each surrounded by moderation, drink lots of clean river, and do some form of excercise U enjoy. Yoga, stretching and Marshall Arts are great. Also meditation and press if possible. Breathing is terribly important too. Im 46, own a bachelor of science in Nutrition and am still trying to integer it out, U learn bright things everyday and find out what will work for YOU as an individual.
Well, my husband and I have horrible anxiety. He is on an antidepressant, I am not. I don't approaching the medication, so I found an alternative. It's called Valeriana root. You brew it into a tea. The simply drawback is that it does make me consistency as if I've taken at least 2 muscle relaxers. Best taken 30-60 mins formerly bed. You can find it at www.salviasupply.com.(in the sedatives (don't permit that scare you) division on the left side in the middle down) Good luck...It's not horribly expensive, but I would suggest using it only when your anxiety is on the fruitless side...

Minerals:
A 'Chemical Imbalance' is a mineral imbalance, which is a 'Mineral Deficiency'.
Electrolytes are ionized salt (minerals) found in body fluids and the blood stream. Electrolytes are the sparks, which fire and fuel the neurotransmitters that see us to think and process information. Minerals create a in shape environment in which the body, using vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates and fat, can grow, function and heal itself.
Take a suitable Multi-Vitamin and Mineral supplement, plus Omega 3 oils. All proven to enhance mental acuity and increase your feeling of well-being.
I used to hold anxiety attacks, I used to freak out in file at supermarkets. Multi-Vitamin and Mineral supplements saved my enthusiasm.
Stay away from Ginseng. It cause frenzy attacks with us who enjoy anxiety probs.
