Remedies for flue.?
Hi, I am suffering from flue since last Monday. It is no dull flue it is a severe case of man flue. I do get the impression rotten. Any suggestions of things I can do to get better? I am taking B. flu plus but it doesn`t seem to be to do anything. What do you do when you have a cold? Don`t want to budge to the doctors and due to work commitments I can`t stay home either.
Answer: Flu:
For nausea - ginger tea. You can bring in a simple ginger tea with 1/4 tsp ground ginger (cooking spice) within a cup of hot water. Sweeten next to honey. Ginger is great for stomach upset and nausea and can be healing. Honey is also health-giving when you have bacterial or viral issues - similar to cold or flu
DO NOT eat in 2 hours of vomiting. Drink plenty of clear liquids, hose is best, then tea, clear chicken broth, 100% liquid (apple is best, cut 1/2 and 1/2 with water). Emergen C is a worthy nutrient replacement. If you find yourself omitting almost continuously, add on a 1/2 tsp of sea saline to your water (about 8 oz). Stir and sip on that.
DO NOT do Gatorade or sodas which enjoy refined sugars that will suppress your immune system and manufacture your body work harder to get resourcefully. DO NOT take any cultivated sugars or artificial sweeteners. Stevia is a good alternative if you want to sweeten your tea and don't enjoy honey.
When you do start to eat again, a poached egg on toast is the most nutrient replenishing, effortlessly digested food. It is always our first breakfast time after the flu. If you have diarrhea you call for to go 24 hours short any solids. When you are keeping things down, some great homemade chicken soup wil finish the healing process.
COLD:
Vitamin C, near food. 500 mg, 2x a day. It can upset stomach if taken short food, so if you have the flu at indistinguishable time you may want to hold off on C pills and try Emergen C instead.
Same liquid as for flu, except instead of ginger tea use mullein, lemon or peppermint.
Homemade chicken soup.
NO refined sugars - immune suppressants and will breed your body work harder to recover. Also no artificial sweeteners, they are complex on the kidneys and will make the body work harder.
If sore throat: grapefruit pip extract liquid - dilute 10 drops surrounded by 6 oz of water and gargle. If ear throbbing, put drops of diluted Grapefruit seed extract within ear. If sinus infection, add diluted GSE to your saline nasal rinse or clear your own with 1/4 tsp saline, 1/4 tsp baking soda in 8 oz of thaw water. Add 10 drops GSE.
For congestion, you can include mullein to water, boil for 10 minutes or so, next take pot stale stove and inhale the steam. Best to cover your head beside a cloth to trap steam around face.
FOR FLU OR COLD:
Take 1 tsp apple cider vinegar within 100% apple juice. And make the addition of garlic to your routine. Both are very curative for both viral and bacterial issues because they boost your immune system and help it do clash. We do a garlic butter with 1 tablespoon butter and 1 clove crushed garlic and make the addition of it to pasta or butter bread and grill it (don't toast as the butter could ignite).
Hope you are feeling better soon.
Drink some gatorade=water and electrolytes to backing replenish you.
Have some mint tea, it will calm you and depart up your sinus passages.
Take some vitamins.
Tap nap to regain energy.

obviously what you guzzle will help or get in the way - lots of fruit and veg especially anything with vit c resembling oranges and try to avoid dairy.
hope you feel better soon!
SLEEP SLEEP.
I am afraid if it is really flu and not of late a bad cold i.e. the only true cure..staying surrounded by bed keeping warm and keeping your body hydrated next to plenty of fluids.
Over the counter medicine can costume a few annoying symptoms ie the stuffed up nose and headache, but you really need to rest.
If you can munch through .chicken broth has be proven to help.
So rest up lift it easy at lowest possible till after the weekend
The only point that works for me is Chicken soup. Either Cream of Chicken by Heinz or the best is home-made soup. Just boil a chicken carcass slowly for an hour, strip any leftover meat, tag on some stock and loads of veg, boil again for 20 mins then get through! The next daytime you'll feel loads better. It really works.
