Vicodin is dosed 5/500, 7.5/500, and 10/500. The bottom number is the amount of Tylenol, and the top number is the amount of Vicodin. Vicodin ES or extra strength are certainly the 7.5/500. So if someone is talking more or less "1000" of Vicodin, they are probably speaking of the 10/1000 strength.
