Arthritus does anybody know of something which will wellbeing the condition?
I am 58 years old and suffer from stiff and bloody joints is in that a tried and tested product that can ease the problem I know here is no cure.
Answer:
Arthritis is one of those things where some things that work for one personality may be useless for someone else. I have be told that orthopedic surgeons in a hospital close by me will not recommend glucosamine and chondroitin to their patients but - guess what - they all clutch it themselves. Studies have clearly shown it has a accurate effect on the knees. I have have problems with my wrists (I am a shiatsu practitioner) and hold been taking 'jointassure' from Boots which have worked almost instantly and much better than glucosamine alone. I suspect it's the combination of fish oils, vtiamin E and ginger near the glucosamine, etc. that makes the difference. Although I know a bit something like how these things work I don't have the skills to receive all the elements surrounded by the most effective combination - that's what chemists are for! However, within are a number of homeopathic remedies that work (Rhus Tox is one, Bryonia another), but this is also an individual process and your best bet is to discuss it near a homeopath, or an osteopath or shiatsu practitioner who uses homeopathy as well - some of us do, and could assess you properly during a session. There are as tons origins of arthritis as there are remedies - it's worth exploring what's out within. If you have a pure health clinic implicit you have a chat near someone who can take you through the potential option. And maybe check near your doctor that there's no underlying medical problem - ME can give similar symptoms, virus can throw up arthritic reactions that ending a long time after the virus has gone, even depression can stiffen the body alarmingly - so check it out.
Don't despair! You don't necessarily obligation a life of painkillers!
glucosamine is supposed to be completely good although I havent found it to be in particular so. I suffer from the same and I purloin Ibuprofen (1800 m per day), it helps a bit.
I know of a truly wonderful inbred remedy that will help. It is call arnica gel. Rub this into your joints and you will be beyond doubt amazed at the instant relief you return with. Please try it, I know it will help you.
Ask your GP to refer you to an specialist osteopath, here is a drug called METHOTREXATE and is considered to be sheltered to a dosage of up to 11 milligrammes per week, I couldn't walk in need excruciating pain, I tried cortisone injections that worked short possession, but methotrexate has be a miracle drug for me as I hope it may be for you.
Ancient medical techniques resembling herbal or oriental medicine have a lot to extend, but of course so does western prescription. My point is that using certain technique to determine the natural inclinations of your body composition, can assist you focus in on what works and what won't. It's the common sense why glucosomine works great for some, but not at all for others.
I suffer osteoarthritis within both my hands from an industrial stroke of luck about 15 years ago, and it's a deteriorating disease. which routine it will get worse. I used to filch Vioxx and it was GREAT! But as you would expect, we can't take that any longer - can we?!
Most of the anti-pain medication close to Ibuprofen or Naproxyn are VERY harmful to the stomach, and repeated use at elevated dosages can easily produce gastric ulcers. But within are other meds that can be helpful too. You basically have to find the one that works best for you. and trial and error are one instrument, BUT...Oriental diagnosis can be VERY helpful within quickly identify your body constitution, and then it is assured to find which compound work for you or against you (try to imagine yin and yang and it'll fashion more sense.
After giving up Vioxx the pain increased day by day until it was almost intolerable. I feel crippled. I finally gave within and went to an outmoded friend - an herbal medicine doctor (I live within Korea) and he tested me with herbalist technique, and found my body constitution (his words). He made several possible recommendations, and I researched them.
These are the ones I looked into...

NSAIDS: Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. These are medications that dampen inflammation and do not contain cortisone-related compounds.
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are commonly prescribed medications for the inflammation of arthritis and other body tissues, such as within tendinitis and bursitis. Examples of NSAIDs include ASPIRIN, indomethacin (INDOCIN), ibuprofen (MOTRIN), naproxen (NAPROSYN), piroxicam (FELDENE), and nabumetone (RELAFEN). The major side effects of NSAIDs are related to the gastrointestinal system. Some 10%-50% of patients are unqualified to tolerate NSAID treatment because of side effects, including abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloating, heartburn, and upset stomach. Approximately 15% of patients on long-term NSAID treatment develop ulceration of the stomach and duodenum. The first one, Piroxicam is the one I've found that works best for me. I take it next to Ranitidine whichis sold OTC as Zantac. It coats the stomach while the Piroxicam dissolves.
It took a little while to build up a rank of medication - about a week, but presently it's pretty manageable. As long as I hold on to my regular. I take it twice day after day, but sometimes take an extra one if I'm using my hand a lot.
If I run out of pills for a few days, I begin to surface the pain return, and I know I'm on the right meds.
My body type (or constitution - sometimes Dr. Mok refers to it as temperament) is Spring type, and Glucosamine didn't work for me (Dr. Mok advise me that it wouldn't work for my body type), but if it works for you, take it and be appreciative. If not, keep trying different things to see what will work. It's worth the try to live with smaller quantity pain. Good luck!
MSM and Glucosamine are some over the counter supplements available.
Oils high-ranking in linolenic bitter are used topically on affected joint by some people.
Cold Pressed Coconut grease (rich in Lauric acid) is used topically by the Asians.
As other go to your doctor beforehand trying any new medication or regimen for arthritis.
Good Luck
I'm 66, and I've been developing a stinging arthritic hip over the last few years. Around 6 months ago I discussed this near the pharmacist in Tesco; she recommended Glucosamine next to Chondroitin. At the time I got the plain glucosamine because it be 2 for the price of 1! However I'm almost through the 2nd lot and I'm about to try the style she advised.
Now, this might be coincidence, or automatic healing, or even wishful thinking - but SOMETHING is helping! I'm not within near as much misery as I was, and I intend to stay on this medication.
Clinical trials own been done on knees, and it's proven to hold been a give a hand. Glucosamine helps to produce tentative cartilage in the joint. Go for it, girl!
There are at least two forms of arthritis. Yjere is another form close to arthritis when people habe collitis or Chron's disease. I am unsure if this is another form, or osteoarthritis flaring up occasionally.
Osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis.
Go to a doctor to find out which form of arthritis you truly have. After you know which form you hold;
There are several things you can do for osteoarthritis.
1. Use ointments next to capsaicin (the heat from peppers) This is tremendously helpful.
2.Take Ibuprofen within moderation. Ibuprofen has the cleverness to fight the inflamation within the joints
3. Take a supplement that have Glucosomine, controtin, and Colagen. The colagen is very esteemed to help grow fresh cartelige
4. you could learn some heartiness healing modality such as Huna, Reiki, Pranic soothing, etc and apply energy to the sore joint.
5. There are some crystals like Obsidian and others that supposedly comfort arthritis. I don't have arthritis; so I can not speak to it's worth.
No matter which of the five suggestions you use; you should join mild exercize to help retain your collective movement and flexibility.
I would recommend Ba Duan Jin Qigong, Pillates, Tai Chi, or Yoga.
I don't know if you are female. If you are, hormone replacement dream therapy can do wonders for easing joint niggle in the post-menopausal. If you are mannish, you could try glucosamine or MSM-
this is said to be helpful to some. You could also try taking human growth hormone supplements ( somewhat expensive to purchase) or have your testoserone levels checked by your physician. Also, lots of fish grease and flaxseed oil supplements!!
Good luck.
