I had shingles, and they are still painfull. When ever it hurts really bleak what I would do is get Ice and Petroleum Jelly. Rub the Vaseline contained by and then set the rime on top of it until it dries.

nope, I'm afraid none that I know of. I hope you don't enjoy shingles in a really unpromising spot...I had it within and on my left ear!! It f-ing hurt! The lone thing I can read aloud is, get a few extra hours of sleep and find other things to do beside your time to keep your mind rotten the pain/burning/horrible itching.
.. Though, I would suppose calamine lotion (the cold pink stuff for chicken pox) would work. Shingles is a cousin to chicken pox, so you can always try that!

I feel so horribly for you, for my mom have Shingles, and I know how agonizing they can be. As for natural remedies, she tried a bunch, but found the lone relief to be to soak surrounded by the bath, and bring pain meds. None of the "natural" remedies help her, so she had to turn to Vicodin, which she loathed having to do, but the strain was insufferable. I hope you find relief, and seize well soon.
