Cyst treatment?
Has anyone had any nouns treating skin cysts? The medics advise 'do nothing' which is no sustain at all - the cysts astern my earlobes are small but a CONSTANT irritation and have be there for years. I swab them next to TCP in hope that it reduce the chance they will grow or seize infected. Anything that even calms down the irritation would be appropriate - to shrink them even a little would be great.

if you are perceptive on getting them removed get surgery done. it will remove the source of anxiety.
I've have small cysts, and like you, the doctors support leaving them alone. Mine enjoy been on my appendage, and when they first appear, they cause a LOT of discomfort in my hand, to the point where I can't even run my hand under river without spasm. My doctor told me to push on them and it will flatten them out- if you push really hard. A cyst, if it is a minor one, is simply a bunch of muscle that get bunched up and is holding water. However, I hold tried this, and it usually did not work, as the cyst came spinal column in a few minutes. And since it is by your ears/head, I wouldn't recommend that you try this.
If it is so irritating, a doctor can inject cortosone (sp?) into them, and they will jump away. I didn't have this done, because I'm afraid of the effects of cortosone on my body.
If your doctor won't do it, even if you enlighten him it's irritating and you WANT it done, try a walk-in or after-hours clinic with a different doctor. It's such a simple entry to do, I'm sure any doctor can.
