Is 9 milliliters of antibiotics to much?

i have a four month ripened and she is 22 pounds with an ear infection so is it to much

Answer:
Believe it or not, a pharmacist usually know more about drugs/doses than doctors do. I would appointment a local pharmacy and tell them what he have given you, and the dosage, they will be able to answer you.
Most antibiotics for children are formulated differently, so it may not be too much as long as it's a child's formula.

If you don't find a pharmacy hard by you, you can call 8OO-325-3737, they own a pharmacist or an RN staffed 24/7 and would probably be able to answer you.

Hope this help!!

- And no, if the doc felt it called for to give you antibiotics, later you need to use them. Waiting for it to treat on it's own could cause more devastate.
Phone your doctor and ask him/her.
better make shure its ok to impart your child labortory grown dirt
she weighs something like 10 kilograms. antibitoics are often calculated base on kilogram rather than pounds.
while 9 milliliters (ml) sounds similar to alot for her size, it may be a lower dose per ml than usual. check the label and ask the pharmacist if this is the correct concnetration and dose.
by the path, 9 ml is 1 ml shy of two teaspoons (each real teaspoon is 5 ml)
That depends on how tons milligrams per milliliters she prescribed. If the pharmacist thought it was an indecorous amount, he/she would've called and question the doc. Just to be sure tho, call the pharmacy and ask them if it is correct.
