Does exposure psychoanalysis really work?
On valentine's day, I get super drunk. The next year, I woke up with one of the worst hangover that I have ever have, now I now and then drink beer. Each sip tastes resembling the vomit i threw up the day after. Would it work near fast food as powerfully? Eat so much of Jack's Big Texas Cheeseburgers until I puke and always remember that predilection?
Answer:
Hi jflores, Exposure therapy is base on the principle that we get used to things that are lately annoying and not truly dangerous. This is call habituation, and it occurs instinctively in over 95% of ancestors. But you have reasonably opposite a situation. Your body rejects toxic bits and pieces. In other words you have allergic recoil for alcohol drinks and other products which were used together near him and have after-hangovers syndrome.

Not a well brought-up idea, health-wise, to overindulge contained by anything. Getting drunk can lead to kidney and liver mess up and over-eating on food loaded with cholesterol can front to heart disease. Moderation is the key to accurate health. Train your body to know it's precincts. Don't try to shock it into submission.
