Answer: i agree w/ "the-only...". Use what works best for you. Trial and error. (in the hospital i work at, we give Protonix.)
which ever one works for you, they adjectives work in essentially indistinguishable way, to inhibit the production of acids. Prilosec, Protonix, and Zantac simply mask symptoms.
You obligation to treat the underlying problem, which I know from personal experience, is most often a poor diet.
See a holistic or oriental drug practitioner, but until then, baking soda & river for heartburn.
