Natural deodorants?

I'm interested in trying protected, healthy and simple or homemade deodorants. I tried the crystal stuff, after baking soda (my skin must be too sensitive), and I'm considering using alcohol or even witchhazel. Does anyone have any tips or experience beside these (or similar)?

Answer:
using a couple of drops of lavendar oil below each arm serves as a deoderant.

also, i buy my organic deoderants at either walmart or target. they both enjoy the one in a wan tube (can't remember the name) and it says organic, no aluminum or parabens. also, walmart carries Nightengale Naturals deoderant w/ no parabens or propolyene glycol.

other clever, you can get Tom's adjectives natural deoderants, but those are more expensive and the other two I mentioned work only as well for a fraction of the price.
There are several different products you can acquire from any health food shop; if you do an internet hunt you'll find plenty as well.
1. Lemon liquid. Apply with cotton bubble.
2. Apple cider vinegar. Also apply with cotton globe.
3. Tea tree oil (mix 2 drops of essential grease in an ounce of marine and dab beside it your armpits).
4. Turnip juice reduce underarm odor for up to 10 hours. Grate a turnip and apply juice.
Kiss My Face Liquid Rock contained by Lavender smell!! Awesome stuff, it works better for me than mainstream deoderant ever did! Bought it at Henry's...a local semi-health food store.
The crystals work, but the roll-on non-crystal stuff does not work.
