Does anyone know of an herbal or inbred remedy that have soporific or relaxing effects?

Looking for something to treat the symptoms of occasional anxiety, nerves, excessive worry...etc. I want to avoid going the prescription drug route for a sleeping pill or tranquilizer. Anyone know of an herb or other natural remedy that produces relaxation? I don't want to cart something to make me sleepy or drowsy, freshly to be able to relax! Thanks...

Answer:
L-Theanine is a inbred relaxant without the side effects of drowsiness. You can find it at a robustness food store or your local Vitamin Shoppe.
Puritan's Pride has tons herbal supplements that may be just what you're looking for.
Passi Flora tablets work ably.
Bach Flower Remedies also work really well.
Camomile Tea is peaceful.

Hope this helps

I don't know just about 'remedy' but certain smells hold different effects on people. Try going to candle store or if you considered necessary to you could go to a Bath and Bodyworks and see if they own anything that is considered a 'relaxing' sent.

If that doesn't work you could purely browse the herbal section of your favorite store and see if they hold anything for relaxation.
Valerian - although it smells terrible! What I did be held my breath when I popped it in my mouth next swallowed it as soon as possible. No it doesn't effect your breath... It was an notion my counselor gave me when I be trying to change my sleeping pattern - while I was contained by recovery. So try it - it really works.
A few things:
kava-kava
valerian
commitment flower
chamomile
Inositol
GABA
5HTP
Valerian Root tea is a good one to grasp to sleep. Lavendar (scent) is said to calm the nerves. St John's Wort and Kava-Kava are said to produce similar effects to antidepressant and antianxiety meds. Watch your caffeine intake, and if you smoke, try to quit. Caffeine and nicotine are stimulants, and will do basically the opposite of what you are seeking. Also, if you drink, remember that a drunken sleep is not as fitting quality sleep as a sober one.
essential red oil works best for me.its sedative and promotes rest, it also reduces stress and uplifts your mood. and it is one of the smaller number expensive oils.. (it's lately the oil from an red peel)
I would recommend the powerful antioxidant Isotonix OPC-3. It is a natural supplement containing the three antioxidants grape nut extract, red wine extract, and another powerful antioxidant called Pycnogenol which is a organic plant extract from the bark of the oceanic pine tree which grows exclusively along the coast of southwest France. All three antioxidants are put into one supplement hence the name OPC-3. The supplement is surrounded by isotonic form when mixed with the right amount of dampen so you receive superior delivery and digestion in your body. it’s isotonic competent, meaning it’s equal pH levels of the other fluids surrounded by your body such as your blood, plasma, tears, etc. isotonic capable supplements are the subsequent best thing to IV (when doctors inject medication hastily into your blood stream); when you drink a supplement that’s isotonic your stomach does not have to variation it to match your body, it enter your small intestines within minutes.
All the information on OPC-3 can be found at http://www.marketamerica.com/blittrean/i...
At your local strength and nutrition stores they sell OPC or OPC-1 for more money, and you merely receive anywhere from 30% to 40% of what’s on the nutrition label due to the certainty the supplement is not Isotonic capable.

The best point to do if you would really like to know what would be the best supplement for you, I would recommend you to embezzle a free questionnaire called the Nutri-Physical and go and get a report of what would personally be the best supplement for you, or you could carry a custom supplement made for you.

The Nutri-Physical can be taken at
https://www.marketamerica.com/blittrean/...

After you take the Nutri-Physical you will enjoy the option to any view supplements already made that suit you or you will know how to check a custom cocktail and view what you have need of specifically; and have one made for you.

Hope This Helps

Once the Nutri-Physical is complete, you'll know how to view the results anytime at www.myunf.com
