Triscuts, hand down, no contest.
Eat anything with lots of fiber surrounded by it that will help do the trick.

Stool softeners. Don't take Dulcolax. You will draw from the stomach pains from HELL.

Anything with abundantly of fiber or starch. Breads and rices will do good. Also some vegies. Hope you consistency better.
Try apple juice, prune liquid, fresh vegetables and fruits. My mom was on percocets and be constipated and she used prune juice.
Stuff to be exact high contained by fiber- bran, wheat- also leafy green veggies (spinach, salad, cabbage)- it will also help verbs your stool, which is why it helps near constipation. Also, you can try metamucil or something like that. Also, create sure you are drinking plenty of water, because short water, these things won't work properly contained by your body.

EDIT!!! LMAO @ MOPARS answer!!! Anything from taco bell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HILARIOUS!! you get a thumbs up from me!
Prunes, apricots, apples/apple liquid.
Anything with lots of fiber. Leafy green vegetables, nuts, fruits, prune liquid, celery etc. etc.

However, I had surgery surrounded by which they perforated my bowel and these types of foods can irritate the bowels especially after surgery. Best point I've ever tried is coffee as suggested by my doctor. Its a natural stimulant to the bowels.
I own that all the time. Prunes are angelic. Prune juice. Apricots Oranges are also biddable. Eat a couple of these types of high fiber foods and it shall set you free.
Sauerkraut is one of the best foods for that.

Also, if it is really unpromising, take some castor grease. Try to find it in capsule, because it tastes dire, but it really works.
high fiber foods and plenty of hose! prunes are great because they cause the intestines to helpfully contract. eat 5 or 6 dried prunes and you should progress within 12 hours. also, try adding up flax seed to cereal. guzzle grains that are total - and that have at lowest possible 3-4 grams of fiber per serving. you should be getting 32-35 grams of fiber in your diet respectively day. here's a great trellis page about gastrointestinal guardianship. hope you feel better!
Lots of cheese!

Get your doctor to prescribe some Vicodin too.
This is what I did when I have surgery with complications that put me on a stomach pump for two weeks and like thing happen to me and I continue to do it again if I hold a problem:

I eat four individual containers of yogurt a hours of daylight for several days. This yogurt MUST contain Acidophilus & Bifidum Cultures!!! I make sure I achieve PLENTY of fibre and stay away from cheese. Cheese is binding and can produce constipation to get worse! I also drink Peppermint Tea instead of coffee and other caffienated drinks. Caffien cause dehydration, the OPPOSITE to what the body needs! Peppermint Tea, made from REAL Peppermint Leaves act as a relaxant to the stomach but stimulates the bowels. Besides the Peppermint Tea, I sometimes use prune juice as very well. And mostly I drink plain old hose for the rest of my fluid intake, sometimes a bit of NON-Caffienated soda/pop.

Since you only JUST have surgery. You must GENTLY coax your body into working correctly again. Anything too drastic could possibly cause complications to the surgery you have. It can take a few days of this 'therapy' to work but it'll be WORTH it within the 'end'! (sorry, bad pun, near!)

"Constipation is not one and only uncomfortable and distressing, it can head to more serious health conditions, such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Diverticulitis and should not be allowed to take on for more than a week without doing something roughly speaking it.

As our bodies are made up of 65% water, it is key that we replenish our bodies with plenty of hose, drinking at least 8 specs of pure, fresh water a year. Water rich foods including fruit and vegetables supply water to the body. Insoluble bran rich foods such as brown rice, wholegrains and vegetables soften the stool making it easier to exceed.

Exercise on a regular basis is also certain to increase muscular contractions and helps relieve constipation. In increment to taking the above steps, there are unprocessed supplements you can take for breakneck relief. Golden Flaxseed (Linseeds) is a rich source of mucilage and omega 3 EFAs that provide lubrication within the bowel. Taking the actual linseed on a daily argument, either within juice or sprinkled on cereal also help to provide bulk in the intestine, encouraging regular bowel movements.

Psylium, a gel forming bran, can reduce aftermeal glucose and insulin level in both nourishing and diabetic people. It assists contained by cleansing and detoxing the body as heavy metals and other impurity bind themselves onto the fibre and are removed from the body through excretion.

So I don't get sued for answering a medical ask, I will tell you I am not a doctor - you should ask one. That man said...

If u could eat beans , they tag on bulk. Put a carrot in the pot while their cooking and it take the gas out of the beans. (Pinto's, great northern, etc.)
First and foremost, if you had surgery you be given anesthesia to knock you out. In itself it can constipate you until it is fully out of your system.
If you are also taking anti bio tics for the relief of your injury/surgery it is also contributing to stomach bloating and constipation. Go to your local strength food store and ask for probiotics. they will restore the natural flora and set off to your digestive system which has in recent times gone through a traumatic experience from the surgery.
Also you can take psylium powder 1 teaspoon beside water or liquid upon rising and the same past bedtime until you become regular. It is also good practice to do this regularly for added benefit of fiber within your life style.
I agree beside Mopar.
Coffee does it for me every morning.
And taco bell makes it come out both ends.
If you frequently catch constipated, I would reevaluate your diet and maybe look into other vigour issues like hypothyrodism. It can incentive frequent constipation.
Be careful of what you put into your body when you get through your meals. I work at Hospice and adjectives of our patients get constipated. Have you tried an enema? Also you can try some heat up prune juice. Also rub your belly within a clockwise direction for a few minutes and then within a counter clockwise direction to stir up your bowels.
fresh fruits and vegetables will help alot and also river and excercise too. moving around alot. if you can stand them eat prunes i revulsion them but they are fiber. anything with fiber will fix your problem explicitly why fresh fruit is good and loaded near fiber and vegetables like brocoli is polite to . good luck
