Home Remedies for...?
Does anyone know any home remedies for a sore throat? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
Answer: What has worked best for me is nasal cleansing. I own post nasal drip that irritates my throat, so I take a handful of marine, GENTLY suck it up through my nose, consequently blow it out. Repeat until the water is verbs.
Zinc lozenges do a great job, if it's a sore throat at the start of a cold.
Gargles beside salt hose can work. Hot tea is good -- any thaw out liquid is great, because it relaxes the throat, and give you more liquids.
If you don't enjoy any throat lozenges, try just plain tricky candy -- don't bite it, suck it until it's gone.
I haven't had much luck near slippery elm.
If it continues more than a few days, see the doctor to rule out certain conditions that can be treated confidently with allopathic medication.
Drink warm tea next to honey, that's what I have be doing the past few days and it works great for me! If you are looking for alternative medicine, try slippery elm tea. This herb soothes irritating tissues so it is excellent for a sore throat. As I am sure everyone will recommend, also add some honey. It is potent because it is has a fluent antiseptic quality. Drinking Salt wet a few times a day, including back bed, should also help sterlize as very well as calm your throat. I hope this help, and I hope you feel better soon! GOOD LUCK!
