Does anyone follow an alkaline diet?

I have hear that by creating a more alkaline ph in your body, you can resist masses diseases, as disease thrives in a more bitter environment. How does one go in the region of this? Links would be great as well. This grill is for the alternative health society, as I am sure no western doctor subcribes to this theory.

Answer:    I follow the alkaline diet roughly speaking 1 year now. I am really well about the positive effects I hold been experiencing, such as shipment loss (4 kilos which I had no adjectives of losing before), improved skin, more enthusiasm while exercising, and no muscle pain after exercising.
I am so grateful that I've discovered this diet for myself. I really believe that a athletic lifestyle can prevent many diseases including cancer, portliness, allergies, etc.
I usually retrieve my information from this site:
http://www.balance-ph-diet.com
They provide an acid alkaline food chart on their site.

Health is Wealth!! :-)
I try to. If you look at "alkaline foods" within Google you'll get a index. Obviously all the typical Western foods are no right: sugar, alcohol, refined grain... you get the picture. I if truth be told did a lot of righteous for my body by alkalizing it with Kombucha Tea (I bought Synergy brand at Whole Foods), a bottle a daylight, for a month or so. My skin and digestion got like mad better. It was expensive though (>$3 for a bottle).

When I quality like I've have too much of the wrong foods, I try to alkalize.
First off, you entail to know where your body stands. You may already hold a natural dominance of alkaline.

The bodies acid/alkaline go together will predispose a person to clear in your mind emotional states. i.e. anger is associated near excess acid pH and disquiet is associated with excess alkaline pH. You don't want too much of any. 80% of foods should be alkaline forming and 20% acid forming

Foods that alkaline the body are glorious in Potassium, Sodium, Calcium, and Magnesium. (mainly vegis and fruits)

Foods that acidify the body are lofty in sulfer, chloride, and phosphorus. (generally protein foods, meat, pasteurized milk products, beans, most grains, most nuts, sugar and white flour)

Soda is so completely bitter that it will immediately verbs calcium from the bones to buffer the acid.

Don't dance on an all alkaline diet.

here's a inventory of foods

Note that if you generally quality healthy and full of life your pH balance is probably ordinary.
This is the site I use
http://www.naturalhealthschool.com/acid-... I do!

I can tell you, the change have be SIGNIFICANT!! And amazing!! I know, no western doctor subscribes to this theory, but why would they? It would unhook their whole craft!

I used to be diabetic and have a intact wealth of problems - constant boils, constant gas and indigestion (which be hard on my marriage), mental fog, confusion, dyslexia, sparkle lows that affected my ceremonial at work (and led to me getting fired), constant colds and infections, delicate muscles, depression... life roughly sucked. For the first time I feel "normal". similar to other people!!

Here are some links I hold found to support me in this lifestyle.
I thought of a video that I watch one time called "Acid is for Batteries." It be produced by an oncologist. You can see the video on youtube.com - type in Dr. Vega. It be pretty amazing - but you'll see how an acidic environment is not nutritious.
