Spasmodic Dysphonia.....who have used Botox and what are your results? Afraid to try so looking for answers!?
I have not get spasmodic dysphonia but as a nurse I have see patients with it. It can be thoroughly disabling in the more severe cases.
When I later saw a patient next to this problem, the botox treatment was enormously new and not wodely available, and so I saw patients dance for surgery to try and help them. It wasnt other very sucessful and be very traumatic to the patients. The botox risk sounds very pious, it is much less traumatic and done greatly quickly. In your place I would try it as its probably the best opportunity available at the moment.
