Has anyone tried the study of the iris for robustness benefits - not sure what it is call.?
I am going for my first consult and wondering if anyone has tried this type of alternative medication - does it work - what is your experience.
Answer:
Iridology, also known as iridodiagnosis, is an alternative tablets psuedoscience which purports that patterns, colors, and other characteristics of the iris are can be examined to determine information give or take a few a patient's systemic health. Practitioners clash their observations to iris charts which divide the iris into zones that they believe correspond to specific parts of the human body. They believe the eye act as a "window" into the body's state of health. Iridology is a pseudoscience explicitly not recognized by medicinal professionals.
Iridologists believe they can underscore systems and organs in the body that are strong and those which are described as overactive, inflamed, or distressed. These are thought by iridologists to point to a patient's susceptibility towards certain illnesses, to parallel past medical problems, or to predict condition problems which may be developing.
Since iridology is not a method of treatment, its practitioners have repeatedly studied other branches of alternative medicine, such as naturopathy, and used the study of the iris as a diagnostic first step.
Iridologists across the world use equipment such as a flashlight and magnifying cup, cameras or slit-lamp microscopes to examine a patient's irises for tissue changes, as okay as features such as specific pigment patterns and "irregular stromal architecture". The markings and pattern are usually compared to an iris chart that attempts to correlate specific zones of the iris beside specific parts of the body. Typical charts divide the iris into approximately 80-90 zones. For example, the zone corresponding to the kidney is normally in the lower piece of the iris just since 6 o'clock. However, iridologists use a number of different map that do not necessarily agree with one another.
According to iridologists, details contained by the iris reflect change in the tissues of the corresponding body organs. One eminent practitioner, Dr. Bernard Jensen, puts it this way: "Nerve fibers contained by the iris respond to changes surrounded by body tissues by manifesting a reflex physiology that corresponds to specific tissue change and locations."[2] This means that a bodily condition will translate to a perceptible change surrounded by the appearance of the iris. For example, acute inflammatory, chronic inflammatory and catharral signs may indicate involvement, maintenance, or beneficial of corresponding distant tissues, respectively. Other features that iridologists look for are contraction rings and Klumpenzellen, which may indicate various other robustness conditions, as interpreted in context.
History
The first explicit description of iridological principles such as homolaterality (without using the word iridology) are found surrounded by Chiromatica Medica, a famous work published surrounded by 1665 and reprinted in 1670 and 1691 by Philippus Meyeus (Philip Meyen von Coburg).
Changes within color or appearance of the iris are said to indicate changes contained by the health of the corresponding slot of the body.
The first use of the word Augendiagnostik ("eye diagnosis," loosely translated as iridology) began next to Ignatz von Péczely, a 19th-century Hungarian physician. The most common story is that he get the idea for this diagnostic tool after seeing similar streaks within the eyes of a man he was treating for a broken leg and the eyes of an owl whose leg von Péczely have broken many years past. At the First International Iridological Congress, Ignaz von Péczely's nephew, August von Péczely, dismissed this myth as apocryphal, and maintained that such claims be irreproducible.
The German contribution in the grazing land of natural curative is due to a minister Pastor Felke, who developed a form of homeopathy for treating specific illnesses and described new iris signs within the early 1900s. However, Pastor Felke be subject to long and bitter litigation. The Felke Institute in Gerlingen, Germany be established as a leading center of iridological research and training.
Iridology become better known contained by the United States in the 1950s, when Bernard Jensen, an American chiropractor, begin giving classes in his own method. This is contained by direct relationship with P. Johannes Thiel, Eduard Lahn (who become an American under the signature of Edward Lane) and J Haskell Kritzer. Jensen insisted on the importance of the body's exposure to toxins, and the use of pure foods as detoxifiers.
Few medical researchers managed to safe and sound funding to study the possible non-visual functions of the eye. In a paper published within Medical Hypotheses (Waniek[3], 1987), one group tried to explain the observed patterns of iris transparency that distribute wispy into the ora serrata (the edge of the optic retina) by postulating a functio ocularis systemica (systemic eye function). Based on this hypothesis, the researchers developed an experimental trans-iridal street lamp therapy method; however, no other confirmation of the guess and method exists to date. Other results from this research include early attempts at computerized iris imaging for the purpose of iridologic diagnosis.
I enjoy never experienced it but alot say it is great. It is commonly particular as iridology, i think i spelt it correctly.
iridilogy. It is mostly gibberish, as trials have demonstrated. There are dependable gross signs of disease detectable in the eye: copper poisoning, jaundice, anaemia, massively high cholesterol. The rest is mumbo-jumbo. However if you want to spend your money that process, go ahead. These practitioners habitually give credibly sensible general warning about the vigour anyway, the sort of thing your granma would let somebody know you anyway
It is called iridology I presume. I have not have experience with it but, but have be offered a free consult by a very thoughtful woman, and once I get through this semester of college and own some free time I might try it. Good luck to you with it. ;)
Several years ago I have gall stones and I didn't want surgery, so I go to an Iridologist for an alternative method to get rid of them. While I be there I have her "read my eyes". My sister had told me more or less her. When I made the appointment, I didn't tell her that I be the sister of one of her clients so she couldn't call her and ask something like my background. ;-) I didn't believe surrounded by it, but wanted to see what she would vote. She asked me when I had pneumonia, my disappeared lung is scarred. That made a believer out of me. I have pneumonia when I was within the fourth grade! I hold since took a class on how to do iridology and it's not as hard as you might reflect on.

I've had Iridology done and short telling them any of my condition problems, they told me! I was surprised to speak the least. They be right on the money. Iridology will tell you what is nourishing in your body and what wishes work. I totally believe in it presently. Even the herbs that be recommended for some of my problems helped. I conjecture it is a good entity to have done so you know what your questionable and strong areas are when it comes to your health.
