Why do populace treat OTC drugs and herbal prescription differently than prescription medication?
Medicinal substances, whether they are prescription meds, OTC drugs, or herbal formulas, impact the body's physiology.
Why would a person clutch a medicinal substance without knowing if it is right for them and their form problem?
Why do people assume that if a bit works well afterwards a lot will work great?
Why would a soul take any medicinal substance in need consulting a certified professional first?
*OTC - Over the Counter*
Answer:
I beliieve people estimate that, if it wasn't necessary for a doctor to prescribe a medication, consequently it must be safer to use than prescription medications. Of course, they forget that OTC drugs that are commonly used today be once, themselves, prescription drugs, and that some pharmaceuticals are made from plants. So, it is out of ignorance that people have an idea that OTCs and herbs should be treated as "safe" to do what you please near them. (If anyone else is reading this, please note that it is possible to overdose on OTCs, so it is substantial to follow the manufacturer's instructions on the label--unless prescribed otherwise by a medical doctor.)
You are making many assumptions.
Not adjectives people treat them differently. And tons people are unbelievably responsible with them. Has someone surrounded by your circle upset you by their reaction to OTC's, herbals, or prescriptions?
I own taken all three surrounded by my life that you mention ...beneath the care of doctors and I never thought 'if a touch works well, next a lot will work great".
All I can 'guess' from your question is whoever you are talking in the region of maybe feel frustrated because they aren't getting the proper care they obligation and have contracted to take their form in to their own hand... people do it adjectives the time...some people research the heck out of things and engineer proper decisions...and those that simply take stuff because it's at hand...those are the ones you should worry something like.
Good luck....
The dangers of prescription drugs are any more well certain, more severe, or more prone to abuse/addiction. That is why they are prescription to begin next to. While OTC drugs/herbs can have side effects, they are usually not severe or vivacity threatening when taking the recommended dosage. However, your point about ethnic group assuming the little works, a lot is better, is valid. Sometimes society don't need what they're taking at adjectives and its just a spend. But their ignorance is their own personal responsibility, and if they cant follow simple directions on the container then thats their problem and a call in to the MD over supplements, while recommended, is often more hassle and cost than its worth.
Overall, its best to engineer an informed decision when taking supplements, herb, and other OTC medication. Its up to the person to want how much information they need.
Sorry, too copious questions. Try asking one at a time. I don't want to write a book contained by here.
