Does vitamin C really cause you touch better when sick?
When ever I have for a moment, cold, cough, or am just consciousness out of it, my mom tells me to put away an orange. "Drink some red juice", "take 2 vitamins a day", "drink some natural raspberry tea (with vitamin C)"...does this really work? I've been sick presently for the past two weeks (longer than I've ever be sick), and I can feel that the sinus infection that be in my trunk has moved down to my chest- awakening my asthma. Ironically, I ate an red the day previously I started sneezing and sniffling. Along with these symptoms, I also touch nauseous- usually after eating a confident amount of food, thus making things I used to love eating disgust me (classical conditioning?)...And I've be coughing so much (thanks, asthma) that I swear I have 2 topical ab muscles. If anyone has any remedies that in fact work, and know if vitamin C really is God in citrus form please get the impression free to share, and I'll promise not to cough on you...
Answer: In my experience, once already sick,it doesn't help much,but...if you enjoy vitamin C everyday when you are ok,it acts as a preventative and you go and get less sick.
One entry that I find to work for me and I can say that ,although culture around me are always sick.I am not and I don't stop their bugs ,is drinking ALKALINE water. It is said that inside the body, our organs are comfortable in an alkaline base environment and viruses and bugs don't similar to it. I tried it and I've seen such a difference that I done up buying a water alkalizer. If I ever procure a cold or something.and that is severely rare (but I am human after all),it go away much faster than the other people around me. I used to own asthma too...and sinus problems. Not anymore..oh! and I used to have really unpromising psoriasis..Took one year but during that time it slowly decreased within size.I do drink 2-3 liters a day.and use it for my tea making..anything that I would use ordinary water for.Been told that the alkalinity around 9-10 is the best.Something to do near negative ions..
For a doomed to failure cough and irritated throat I had a remedy...unusual but it is used contained by Africa and it did help..
Cut the top of a lemon, near a spoon make a together in it and bring up some liquid.put in it sugar and black pepper.and drink it.use up the lemon doing it again.I guess it is vitamin C,but the pepper,as unorthodox as it might nouns, helped. An other remedy to be precise really good and kill bacteria at throat rank is use Peroxide 3%,and put in your mouth, swirl it around, and gargle next to it.Make sure you don't swallow it.I even use peroxide to disinfect a cutting board or anything resembling a wound (it stings) or when you have mouth sores..you catch the idea. All these things I am chitchat about, you can Google them to go and get even more info.
Hope this helps you.
I hear it actually does incredibly little and drinking extra doesnt help bc it finds ways out of your system yes Vitamin C is one of the best thiong for you to enjoy when your sick...or even just day by day.but to much is not good for you.
i dont know if it necessarily make you feel better when youre sick but it can facilitate you build up your immune system and help scuffle against whatever condition you have. newly drink a lot of hose and/or orange liquid, because that helps abundantly. my boyfriend got mono and drank ginger juice almost everyday and he be healed surrounded by no time yeah it helps don't you swot up at school ...
your mom wouldn't make available you beer when you sick..
Unless you are like me and take a mild case of heartburn from it, it will do you angelic. breathe moist air also It's a myth. Vitamin C does boost your immune system but it take a while to absorb into your system and most associates have adequate vitamin C from the previous week that it doesn't help much.
WebMD say that vitamin C does appear to boost the immune system, and that it can help you to face-off a cold if taken when symptoms first appear.

However, it sounds like you may hold something other than the cold virus (rhinovirus). You self-diagnosed it as a sinus infection, which it might be, but it also might not.
You've be dealing with this infection for 2 weeks, you're an asthmatic, and it have moved to your lungs. I'd say it's time to tolerate a doc check it out.
Hmmmm, according to Linus Pauling it does.MY PHD [chemistry} dad believed in this so much he forced his kids to drink OJ near VIT.C powder in it-Yuck-the thought counted, but to this afternoon I can only drink "not from concentrate" OJ.I believe the fresh enzymes play a big bit in the liquid. Don't give up on alternative things-they work.[remedies-gargle next to warm H2o,don't cart vit. c on empty stomach-will rationale nausea, flush out nares[nose] with 'sinus flush '[in grocery store]keep body warmth up ,rest, hydrate.Gotta run its course.LOL
