Any reiki experiences?
a friend has a short time ago completed a reiki course and is now a qualified reiki healer.
have anyone had experience of this?
does it only just work on people who believe contained by it?
Answer: With ref to mimkat, i think she is completely wrong as i enjoy had experiences next to reiki that i can not explain and at the same time be not expecting to experience anything. I am a reflexologist and i do not claim to "heal" anybody as no holistic therapist should nor should they claim to diagnose, i also do not do my treatments freshly to make money, i in actual fact do them because i enjoy helping ancestors. With reference to reiki try it for yourself and see how it is for you as everybody is different. wallow in
I tried it once & found it weird. I didn't be in motion back & don't have a sneaking suspicion that it did anything I think its nought but a psychological effect of the brain.

I once tried it because I didn't know what it was. I assume it was close to the Emperor's new clothes. It did completely nothing. I did shiatsu for a year, but other thought reiki was too far fetch to believe. However, the only time I ever have a reiki session, I felt such an intense burning on my pay for that I thought the healer was using some sort of moxa treatment next to fire. The burning was so intense that I almost have to stop the session, yet it turned out he have patently used no heat source at adjectives.
I did not accept the principles of reiki at the time, and I still don't, nor did I expect the session to produce any sensation at adjectives, yet I confess to have no explanation whatsoever for what I felt during my reiki session. It be probably the closest I've ever been to a, for want of a better word, 'supernatural' experience.
We adjectives use Reiki without realising it, eg. sore cranium you touch it.part of the body sore you rub it...natural heartiness through your hands!
Reiki courses are exceedingly short, you need to swot a lot yourself!
Courses cram you how to protect yourself from negative enthusiasm.
Have you ever noticed some ethnic group make you quality drained and others fill you near energy?
Anyone can practise Reiki, don`t involve any special qualities.

it works wether you believe or not how impressive it may be depends on if you believe be open minded enjoy a go see how you surface after a session. I hate to telephone a reiki practicioner a 'healer'. I've personally be through reiki a few times while in college. It is relaxing and soporific, but it may be placebo. Of course, who cares? If it relaxes you, it relaxes you: ruin of story. Plus, you could probably get a freebie! If it doesn't work, after you KNOW that it doesn't work for you rather than departing it as merely a modality that you didn't take dominance of.
Long story short, the only definite answer you will get to that quiz is from yourself. Best of luck.
I recently tried reiki for depression. I found it worked for give or take a few a day later it sorta stopped. I don't think I would do it again. Reiki is a quip. They pretend to shoot "energy" from their hands, yeah right. I've get a bridge to sell you.
I own had two experiences near reiki. 1st. I own a gift shop within a hotel, the lady come in,her reiki assoc. be having a seminar at the hotel. She offered to convey me some healing vivacity while she was at dinner. I forgot going on for her as I was busy near customers. Well about 40 mins. subsequent I had this sense of okay being that come over me then I remembered her. 2nd. My husband and I be in Sedona, Ariz. We go to one of the vortex at one of the mountains, with a reiki healer and he did reiki on both of us. When we arrived we could only just get out of the vehicle we had be driving from Ca. to Fl. By the time he was done we feel great. Pains & aches be gone for months. My husband was a skeptic at the time.
We loved it. Ask your friend for a medicinal! what are friends for? it doesn't work.
Don't waste your time or money on this quackery.
I trained as an holistic psychoanalyst because I'm interested in aromatherapy & work. Reflexology & Reiki were also fragment of the course. They are both a complete load of bullsh*t but a great method to make confident money. Clients always believe contained by it & are happy to element with lb30 an hour for the privalage of anyone made a fool of. It's the placebo effect, if they believe they will be "healed" then they will. my auntie passed her course too. and although i construe it's in the mind, she cut a satsuma surrounded by half and did it on one partially, not the other, she kept them in matching conditions, the one she did reiki on didn't shrivle as much as the other, she kept them for weeks. she was amazed and took photos of them to show me. at hand was a big difference. strange.
