Why medicine name are other strange?
Answer:
Conventional medicines can enjoy strange names, but alternative medicine are just name from their natural source: ie) Lavender is from the Lavender flower. Its as simple as that really..
Well, the entitle has to be something that is to say not applicable to any other product. Also, it can't bear any resemblance to any other drug name.

it's so that they dont achieve mixed up when there anyone prescribed or used. and to make doctors and medical students run mental trying to learn them adjectives!lol
many name do have some logic to it such as the chemical name but some may be named after empire who invented them. And also what the 1st girl said

What i find stranger is that you should put this question within Alternative medicine. Most alternative pills is named after the plant or mineral it comes from. And the nice article is ... all the bottles of tea tree grease in my cupboard are like! They contain pure tea tree oil. So I never enjoy to worry give or take a few getting them confused either. (it's a disinfectant and anti-fungal by the agency, even managed to finish my toenail fungus sour with it, I'll be proud within my sandals this year).
