Home remedies - cold?


I have to return with over it in 1 week or smaller amount, and be able to sing WELL again by later... HELP!!!! please, and thankyou.

Colds ultimate for two weeks. You might feel better though if you stay indoors, drink plenty of chicken and rice soup, take decongestants, use a vaporizor, Vicks up your chest at hours of darkness (but make sure you be it off if you do enjoy to go out anywhere) Just net sure you don't over due it on over the counter cold medications. They can engender you feel worse if you help yourself to too much.

A lot of colds this time of year are due to the hot dry air from heat systems. The dry air cause mucous membranes in your nasal path to dry and crack and any type of germs that pass across them can shift into your blood stream. If you keep your nasal lane healthy you should be capable of avoid ever getting colds.

You should be able to find a humidifier from a pharmacy and run it at hours of darkness when you sleep. Also, get a saline nasal spray (the unconscious ones work the best) and use it in the morning past you leave the house, and at hours of darkness before you shift to bed. Get some white vinegar to clean out the humidifier next to once a month.

If you can't afford to get any of these things, than boil a pot of wet and make tea beside it as often as you can. The steam will humidify your home.
Boil Coke and make the addition of a dash of lemon.. drink it when its heat up. Some ppl crush some flu tablet inside.. it may sound yukky but it works....
I'd vote get as much sleep as you possibly can (Your body fight off bad health best while your resting)....

Drink a lot of water(To hold on to flushing out wastes), maybe add on some fresh lemmon for the Vit. C (And to flavor up the water)
Herbal Tea and honey is quite soothing and the tea can contain antioxidant warfare power

Speaking of antioxidants, eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies. They will supply your body beside the energy, vitamins, and minerals that your body wishes in direct to fight and procure well again.

And dont forget your multivitamin. Ever since i begin taking Centrum, I actually grain better and havnt gotten sick as much as when I was taking a cheeper store brand multi-vitamin.

one of the best cough remedies ever made for me tasted awful but it worked! Chop one med onion, one clove garlic, and append one med bottle pure honey, let sit over dark. Strain into a bottle and take a tablespoonful ever three or four hours.There really is no track to rid yourself of a cold once you have one but you can medicate the symptoms.
Neo Citron! This stuff works! I drink it back bed and it knocks me right out. When i rouse up i feel rested and much better! If you own a sore throat peppermint tea always works for me.

Last time I had a cold I go to my favorite japanese restaurant and got a steak dinner(wasn't contained by the mood for sushi) a pot of green tea, and some of their mushroom soup. I also used a spicy sauce on my steak and that helped releive pressure contained by my sinuses(gives you a bit of a runny nose though).

Right since you get a cold, when you suppose your about to draw from ill, draw from some Airborne tablets. You drop them in a cup of hose down and drink it after it disolves. It has some righteous herbs and minerals contained by it and it helps strengthen your immune system.

Take vitamin C tablets(chewable is my preference). Echinacea is also a really upright herb to help your immune system. Also I hear if you create tea with a herb call Golden Seal it helps as powerfully.

I usually avoid taking too much medicine because I beleive my immune system is better stale supported by natural herb and minerals rather than manmade chemicals.

Drink greatly of water or tea. And detain up on some video games, movies or whatever. Give your body a apposite resting.

If nothing above is what you looked-for to hear you can use the old fashioned method, gain a bottle of whiskey and sweat it out of you by doing some hard work.
try taking some garlic pills. my husband swears by this stuff. and i hold taken it also. just hang on to taking it for a few days. the only down stumble is it will thin your blood. moral luck!! tis the season.....
