Does 'Within' aim earlier or after?

If the medication says: " Do not consume dairy products, antacids etc in 2 hours or taking this medicine"?

Answer:
It means any...two hours before or after. Most antibiotics hold that warning...something to do near the absorption of the drugs...antacids, etc. can engender them much less efficient.

It means that when you pilfer the medication you wait for at least possible 2 hours before consuming the above.
