Has anyone here lowered their cholesterol purely by taking fish grease pills?
I didn't change my diet and I didn't even exercise and surrounded by 6 weeks my cholesterol went from 255 to 233. Do you reckon it was the fish grease?
Answer:
It probably was. I pilfer essential fatty acids, but I also eat walnuts surrounded by my cereal every day and when I guzzle cereal I eat cherios or a cereal approaching it. I also take untreated apple cider vinegar before dinner. I started out beside a cholesterol level of 226. It go to 201 when I got on thyroid meds. I get it a lot lower beside the cereal, nuts, and essential fatty acids. It is now 167. I do saunter about 10 miles a week too, but I did this back the nuts, cereal, and ACV and my cholesterol didn't budge, so I have to credit the dietary change. If at all possible....stay away from cholesterol lowering meds. They hold many side effects and as long as your cholesterol is on its style down you should be fine.

Fish oil is taken for the omega-3 vitamin benefit, I've never hear of it being used for lowering cholesterol. Maybe you ate smaller amount fatty foods and eggs in that time interval.
Umm--could be! Another thing that will lower cholesterol is Niacin (500 mg. 3 times daily). Be sure to enjoy Ibupropen--you'll need to clutch it at least 1/2 hour previously the Niacin--as you will get flushes (that have a feeling like a really desperate sunburn all over your body), and the Ibupropen will comfort.
For a reason that I can't hark back to, the Niacin that says it won't motive flushing is not good for us. Also, when you start Niacin, lug only 1/2 pill 3 times a morning (and you'll still burn). It doesn't last long--it's the starting taking it that hurts the most--but for most inhabitants, it works!
Fish oil pills, while of benefit surrounded by other ways, did not lower your cholesterol.
Is it possible that you ate something high within cholesterol before the first examination, thereby raising the cholesterol within your blood stream. Then, didn't eat in the past the second test? Just a brain storming thought.
Don;t look at the total number on your cholestrol and freak out.
I own a very giant number in total cholestrol above 230; but my doctor told me I enjoy nothing to verbs about because I own an extremely good ratio of HDL to LDL cholestrol.
like mad of cholestrol is produced by the liver, and this is from heridity and there is nought you can do about that.
Let's find out your cholestrol number, afterwards act fittingly. Be sure to ask your doctor about your ratio of HDL to LDL.
