Is it ok to put a dog on acidopholus? My bichon of late have a round of anitbiotics.?
I asked the vet assistents and neither of them knew.
How much should I make a contribution her? She's a 12 pound bichon who's almost 2 and this is her first time having antibiotics.
Answer: I hold always given my animals human medicine with no side affects.
I would suggest dividing the human dose by 3 or 4 and giving it to the dog 4-6 times per daylight for 3 days and 2-4 times a day for 2-4 weeks.

You could make a contribution her live culture yogurt instead.
It might be easier for her too.
She is very tiny, I would not impart her more than maybe 1/4 of a medication.
If your vet can't answer questions resembling that then you might want to find a better vet. Just tender her organic yogurt. She will close to the taste better if it is flavored, conceivably vanilla. It will be easier, too.
