Have you ever taken st.johns wort?

what is it used for mainly and how did it work out for you

Answer:    I hold grown it in my medicinal herb garden for years. It is one of the few herb that the USDA and the FDA caution against using as a rare drug. Probably because it works. In that, I mean that they probably terror that because raw drugs repeatedly can not be tested for strength you might place yourself at risk when using one that is significant.
If you are going to use it for depression you should process it in generous enough quantity that you can divide it into regular doses. Use moderation and be consistent so if you poison yourself you can relate exactly what you have done to a poison control expert.
If you are buying it otc, follow the directions.
If you are chronically depressed, please see a medical professional for a prescription anti-depressant. Almost adjectives general practitioners will prescribe them in need hesitancy and without a great deal of analytical hoopla.
Yes i used to take it when i not here school (was more or less 17). I was depressed roughly speaking life, my post, my friends etc and just wasn't myself anymore. I took it if for a few months and it definitly worked for me. Its used if you hold anxiety and moderate (not sure if thats the right word) depression. I'm not sure how much i took a day but i took one pill a daytime. You can also take it surrounded by tea which i haven't tried. Some people own said there are some side effects which im not what they are, but if you enjoy been reaction down for a while or have greatly of anxiety i would try it. I've got a bottle at home and are thinking going on for taking it again. St John's Wort is used for depression. I used to take an Rx for depression, but detested the side effects. Now, I take St. John's Wort once on a daily basis, in the morning. The bottles that you return with from the pharmacy or health food store solely tell you how much is within each medication. Get some that is standardized to 300 mg per tablet. Be sure and check with the pharmacist or your doctor as it does interfere near some prescription medicines.
