Yes, they do, my dog have to be put to sleep because she had arthritis contained by her back bone and cancer contained by her stomach. The vet said it would be a shame to keep her alive beside so much wrong and in so much throbbing. To me keeping her alive would have be more painful than putting her to sleep and have her cremated.
