1 or 2 drops of vinegar.

DO NOT USE ALCOHOL!
hydrogen peroxide in the ear for in the region of 1/2 hour and repeat with other ear if infected. Try getting Garlic pills from the strength food store to work as an antibiotic
For regular earaches, I normally use warm Mullein/Garlic/Olive Oil with excellent results. With swimmer's ear, which is what this is, you can try it, I'm simply not guaranteeing the same results. Buy better fitting ear plugs? Heat should abet. You can also try either isopropanol (rubbing alcohol) or hydrogen peroxide. You'll hear the peroxide as it works, but it will NOT hurt you. It will basically sound funny. I believe within are also OTC drops you can get for swimmers' ear. We have to get a prescription for my son, however, to carry it to resolve.
Get swimmer's ear!! Its sold at any grocery store that has a pharmacy subsection. I know its not a "home remedy" but it will dry out your ear after swimming and will prevent an ear infection. I use it all the time. It's AMAZING!! I hold to use it because I get those ear ache all the time... :) Give it a try!!
You probaly hold a little dampen in your ear try a curls dryer, run it past your ear a couple of minutes. Old household cure, sweet oil, available alnost anywhere. Heat a touch on a spoon, with a lighter, variety sure that it is not to hot w/ finger, spill into ear and use a cotton ball, almost on the spot relief. Good Luck!
A drop or two of SWEET OIL (sold at drugstores--if you don't see it, ask the pharmacist) within the ear will displace the water specifically in your ear. Pain nouns is immediate.
Barbie's answer of peroxide is a great alternative. If that doesn't do it, try ear candles. You will need a second entity to help near them, but if you use them every 3-4 months, you will probably notice far a smaller amount earaches &, depending on any earwax buildup, possibly better hearing. (many {but not all} ear candling claims are bs, but they really do clear wax builup from the outer ear canal)
I rob a couple of drops of therapeutic Lavender on a cotton bubble and place it in the ear. Pain gone! Works really great!! Never put oil directly into the ear and use only 100% oil! Good luck!
