Generally, headache are caused by one of three things: muscle stiffness, dehydration, and caffeine withdrawal. Not to mention stress. :) So cause sure you drink plenty of water, hold a cup of coffee, and take a thaw bath. Fatigue can also contribute, so try to gain plenty of rest.

The meat between your thumb and pointing finger..grab it, squeeze it, produce it hurt..sounds silly, but it is a pressure point that works. Hold pressure until you begin to quality the headache fade..Works for me.
I'm always getting migranes. I've come to the point where on earth I dont like taking anything for the torment becuase I get a headach every afternoon. Taking pain stuff every time is in no agency good for my body. (I own been to doctors and such, have MRI's and all...Im' fine, I a short time ago get headachs...migranes, they run surrounded by the family)..
When I have one, the best process for me to get rid of them is to sleep it rotten. I lay down in a cool bleak room and try to sleep. If I can not sleep, relaxing in the cool cloudy room for about a partly hour/45.
Sometimes taking a calcium supplemnt helps also.
If you are at work, or contained by a place where lay down in the threatening is not possible, here are other things you can do. Avoid going on a computer or writing/reading for a while. Try to do something that wont be too strenuous on your eyes (as that can make the headach worse). Perhaps use your headach time to match your desk or do some filing.
A while ago, years ago if truth be told, they did a study suggesting that people who did not drink adequate water contained by the morning were more likley to receive headachs in the afternoon. So be sure your drinking ample flu ids and eating a athletic diet. (which could help prevent the headach contained by the first place).
Good luck. I know how terrible headachs can be.
A nice long siesta should refresh you of that headache.

It really depends on the type of headache. I get hold of terrible sinus headache. Using "Fenu-Thyme" by Natures Way (Fenu stands for fenugreek) really clears my sinuses out, eliminating the headache. Things only start flowing. I also use peppermint and/or lavender as well for sinus headache. I either put in it to a hot bath (the steam also help to get clogged sinuses rolling) or contained by my candle diffuser. The smell permeates the atmosphere in the room. Since peppermint is uplifting and lavender is soporific, they balance respectively other well.
I've never have a migrane, but some company makes "migra-stick," which is lavender and peppermint as capably.
I would really reccomend searching the internet base on the specific types of headaches you acquire. Thats what I did and I found it really helpful. Infact, i.e. what led me to fenu-thyme and several many essential oil that I now own.
Drink a big cup of pure water.
Seriously. A headache is the body's first sign of dehydration. Too plentiful people drink soda and/or coffee in our day. Caffeine robs the body of fluids because it acts as a diuretic.
cut an onion surrounded by half and put a papertowel covering it
Dark dim room, no noise and no table lamp. Lay very terrifically still.
forget first about your worries; focus placidly and everything will just set to place. sometimes it help if you give yourself a break. :)
