Cleansing processes contained by yog ? can anybody explain this ? this is call ''shat kriyas'' within indian writing.
in yoga they mentioned some cleansing proceeses what are they and those are pious for body ?
Answer: Shat kriyas are a bunch of practices in hatha yoga that are designed to cleanse the parts of the body. I had to study them (in theory) for a yoga documents, but as a medical editor, I wouldn't recommend practicing of many of them. Neti is considered beneficial and involves pouring marine into the nose and expelling through the mouth. I could never do paperwork this, though. There is also a practice of "flossing" the nasal passage by ratification a thread between the nose and mouth.
An extreme practice to cleanse the stomach is to swallow a cloth of a certain length and consequently slowly pull it out of one's mouth. An utterly repulsive and precarious idea. Nauli is a practice used next to other practices in which the abdominal muscles are pulled up into the rib shut within and the muscles are rotated in a channel.
Purging practices include drinking massive amounts of water and performing nauli, cause defecation, until the stuff coming out is clear fluid. Another is to draw fluid through the anal sphincter into the anus and then expel the dampen or to draw fluid into the urethra and expel it. Drinking lot of water is a worthy thing but excessive river intake can be toxic. As for the other practices, I think doing these things is a great approach to catch a microbial infection or otherwise irritate and make happen trauma to the body rather than "cleanse" it.
Kapalabati prana, a form of fast breathing that highly oxygenates the blood if done properly (and cause hyperventilation if done improperly) is also a form of shat kriya, which is also a safe and beneficial practice when done correctly.
