Answer: yes, there are lots of "natural" deoderants beside no aluminum. i've tried a few, but they didn't work with my body chemistry and i still stunk. so you might enjoy to try a few to find one that works.
several people i know DO use automatic deoderants with no problem, so they're not a scam.
yes, it does work. It's call Nature's way. Health food stores recurrently have DO that is to say all untaught. I've never tried it personally so I dont know how resourcefully it works but you're smart to try and stay away from things with aluminum. My mom other used to say that you shouldnt use DO beside aluminum because of breast cancer and other health risks.

Adidas have a line of antiperspirants that uses finely chopped wool instead of Aluminum products. I use the masculine product daily, and it works for me. My wife like the female version. Liquid chlorophyll is probably the best there is as it is an internal deodorant that deodorises your body odour before they come out of your pores. A table spoon of soaring strength liquid chlorophyll every afternoon is all you call for.
External deodorants are full of toxins and don't last long because the slightest perspiration simply displaces them.
Liquid chlorophyll also have a cooling effect so you perspire a bit less.
