Is in attendance such a item as literally "Healing Music?"?
Someone I care just about is going in for an intense surgury tomorrow, near quite a long rescue time. I am looking to make a playlist for him, near some music that will encourage his body to alleviate faster. I have hear of a thing call "Healing Music" but I am not exactly sure of what it is? Does it work, How? If anyone can give me any info, I would appreciate it SO much. I also would appreciate any suggestions of bands/songs/where to look. Since his surgury is tomorrow, I dont hold much time. Thank you so so much.
Answer: Yes, it does work.
I can highly recommend the following two invigorating mantras:
Maha Mrityeonjaya Mantra
Gayatri Mantra
By Hein Braat
Available from:
http://www.yoga-ez-fitness-wear.com/medi...
There is also information on that site in regard to the history of healing mantras.
There is an urban myth circling the trellis that one of these healing mantras is the Dalai Lama but it is in actuality Hein Braat.
If you are interested in finding out more just about the subject, I also highly recommend:
Healing Sounds DVD by Jonathan Goldman
Available from:

You could also purchase some toning CD's or guided meditation CD’s.
I also find Tibetan Bowls to be massively powerful for healing sounds:

read the ask you just asked and transmit me is there such a piece I think it's really cool that you hold so much sympathy for your friend that this idea would even come about to you.
I fell from a height of 6ft and broke my right heel a year ago.
For 3 mos I couldn't tramp. When I started to get out on my crutches I took a person in charge set , and it was really surprising to me that because of the adjectives state I was surrounded by I couldn't tolerate rock, or any normal quickly paced music similar to I enjoyed previously.
The only music that I feel in chord with be classical.
And it's funny to me, because noone in my own flesh and blood ever listened to it, and I never get into band, to cram any of it, and yet that be what I really felt comforted by.
Another time my husband and my brother within law come home arguing , and I was playing music by Medwyn Goodall
which is bright age instrumental, and it literally broke up their arguement. The atmosphere it gave be too peaceful to sustain their arguement.
Try classical or contemporary age instrumental.
Halpern is another artist I listened to while taking a yoga class
which really help me to relax and focus.
