Will the ER bill me if I don't own strength insurance?
I have been feeling horribly sick lately, like I have to flu time 10...and im not being dramatic. I obligation to go the hospital, but i have no health insurance. I don't own the money right now, but I will in about a month. Will the hospital bill me?
Answers:
The hospital is required to provide emergency treatment, that is usually defined as the minimum necessary to maintain you from dying or losing a body part. You should certainly go and find out "Am I roughly speaking to die?", simple blood work could reveal a serious condition.
the ER wont bill you but the billing dept will, most adjectives will treat you to help you but are limited on the not so emergency visits, freshly talk to the billing dept. tell them your self-pay and you will probably get a bread discount, you can set up a payment plan just let them know you involve time/help with the bill and then both you and the hospital will know what to expect. good luck and catch well soon
The hospital will transport you a bill. You can then either a) pay the bill (they will expect you to if you are employed; even if it's small payments) or b) saturate out forms to qualify for financial aid which can greatly reduce the cost of the care that you receive. Either way, they can't refuse permission for to see you since you don't have health insurance, that's against the law.
No they shouldn't if you explain to them that you need the health care but enjoy no money to pay. Then the should not bill you, or you can set something up to be billed when you do have the money.
