Can you provide valerian to babies?
Answers:
It's disgusting that any company or personage would even TRY to medicate kids unnecessarily, even worse with this kind of scam medicine.
I hatred screaming kids on a flight. However I'd gladly put up with it if I knew the alternative be for the parent to drug their own child.
That's not really a great thought; valerian contains pretty strong compouds, which is why they are sometimes sold as proper medications- for proper sleeping disorders. Since babies are.. babies, they aren't likely to have too much trouble getting enough sleep- weather or not it's the right time of year! But, if they cry to much and really can't calm down and go to sleep, just try tucking a lavender pouch beneath their pillows, contained by their cradles; there's no health risk to damage the baby, it's completely soft and soft, and the herb and its aroma have been use a very long time to relax and promote sleep.
I would definitlely enunciate no, but you might want to call your doctor to clarify.
They do make a product called "Valerian Calm" by HERBS FOR KIDS that comes in soft form and is suitable for anyone over 1. It's actually a great supplement for long plane rides. Here's a link:

I am appalled that you would even consider medicating a tot with Valerian root. Go to the pediatrician, he or she will give you something to use and the dosage depending on the health and counterbalance of your baby.
Dosing as you were thinking of doing might well result within your baby ceasing to breathe.
I DO applaud your listening to the family on this board on this.
Don't give anything to your baby unless instructed by a doctor. Even over the counter medicines.
Absolutely No. What are you thinking about. You cannot give any herbal remedies to babies or young children.
