30mg Roxicet firs time use press?
I am currently in a great deal of pain beside a tooh abcsess and I can not get to a dentist until Monday. I have taken up to six advils and the pain hasn't stopped and the numbing mouth products are no longer working. I be given a 30mg Roxicet to take but have never taken one before (I am not into pill popping) but I am contained by so much pain right now and nothing is working...
I be told to take it in quarters because it is equal to almost six 5mg perks.
Is this true? Does anyone reccommend how I should take this such as cutting the pill within half or quarters?
I just want my mouth aching to go away, not to get messed up. I am a 'light weight' you could say next to medicine and such because I do not abuse it, if that helps any.

what you be prescribed was another name for percocet, which is oxycodone and acetominophen (tylenol). your doctor should have lately given you a weaker strength, but what you can do is get a tablet cutter and split it in quarters and work your bearing up, depending on if you're still in pain after a couple hours, or a sharp razor blade works to cut too, of late be careful. the number one side effect is that it will make you sleepy/drowsy. also remember to not take any other products containing tylenol short asking your doctor first, for the fear of tylenol overdose Source(s): im a pharmacy tech
