What are the long-term effects of taking probiotics?
I'm a healthy person, but I love my Garden of Life Primal Defense brand of probiotics and was wondering if taking probiotics is impossible in the long-term. Please give full explanations. Thank you

The only side effects would be better regularity. Probiotics are the beneficial microbes that are already in your intestinal tract and help your body absorb nutrients surrounded by the intestinal tract, so they wouldn't be harmful. Some people experience looser stools when they take more than they obligation (although that's normal for any dose in the first couple days), but that's just a virtuous sign that you should back off a bit.
I've been taking Probiotics for a few years and I know inhabitants who have taken them daily for decades and they are some of the healthiest people I know.
That mortal said, Primal Defense is also a much higher price and quantity than most people really requirement for maintenance... there are several other brands that also have elevated quality soil-based organisms like that at a fraction of the price, so I would definitely shop around basically for the price alone. Good luck and I hope I helped! Source(s): Personal experience of myself and others, plus personal research in my role as a Product Specialist for a vitamin company
